Driving Miss Crazies....

Ayanna Pressley’s toxic identity politics

Ayanna Pressley is the newest member of “the squad,” the rag-tag group of far-left congresswomen feuding with Democratic Party leaders and President Trump. She’s also a representative of my home state, Massachusetts. She hasn’t exactly represented us well: Pressley has made a name for herself with her bombastic rhetoric, like when she refers to Trump as “the occupant” of the White House, rather than the president.

But Pressley has officially gone too far. Speaking at the left-wing Netroots Nation conference this weekend, Pressley spoke about minority representation in politics, in light of the flare up between her “squad” and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

Here’s what the freshman congresswoman had to say:
If you're going to come to [the political] table, all of you who have aspirations of running for office. If you’re not prepared to come to that table and represent that voice, don’t come, because we don't need any more brown faces that don't want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don't want to be a black voice. We don't need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don't want to be a queer voice. If you’re worried about being marginalized and stereotyped, please don't even show up because we need you to represent that voice.

Of course, Pressley’s “squad” cohorts and House colleagues Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib sat alongside her and nodded approvingly throughout this tirade, in which the very ability of people of minority races, religions, and sexual orientations to think for themselves was essentially denied.

The Commie squad's acquiescence to Pressley’s blatant racism and homophobia is bizarre and disturbing, but revealing: It shows the toxic nature of identity politics and how it can make bigots out of those who claim to be "progressive."

Think about the implication here: If you are not the right kind of black person, Pressley does not want you in politics. In fact, if you don’t represent blackness in the way she approves, you are not even really...

Here Are The Four Republican Traitors That Voted To Support The Democrats Race Baiting Lies:

Leader McCarthy: House Democrats Dead Set on Erasing Economic Gains

Over the last 18 months, the American economy has grown at a record-breaking rate, and the results have had a far-reaching positive impact on communities nationwide.

Since January 2017, 5.6 million jobs have been created with the help of Republican-led tax reform, deregulation, and other pro-growth reforms. The unemployment rate is near a 50-year low with 224,000 jobs added to the economy last month, surpassing economists’ expectations.

At the same time, wages have risen over 3% for an astounding 11 consecutive months. Even The New York Times has admitted that wage growth is in a “higher gear” and is “going to those who need it most.”

Our nation is in the midst of enjoying the best economy we have seen in a generation.

These results did not occur by accident. They transpired because policymakers made an intentional choice to allow free enterprise to flourish and remove unnecessary burdens on families and businesses.

But our economic progress can, and will, be overturned if Congress tries to control the economy from within its bubble in Washington, D.C., as Democrats are attempting to do today.

Their latest Washington-centric proposal is the Raise the Wage Act, legislationthat would artificially raise the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour—over twice its current amount.

This bill is another misguided attempt by Democrats to impose one-size-fits-all policy on the American people. It is backward-looking and proves that Democrats are dead set on erasing the progress our economy has made since President Donald Trump took office.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office recently released a study that indicates a $15 minimum wage could result in jobs lost and hurt the very people Democrats claim to want to help.

According to the study, a $15 minimum wage could lead to the loss of as many as 3.7 million jobs. Those losses would fall disproportionately on entry-level workers. Younger workers could account for 46% of the job losses.

Individuals without high school degrees could account for 38%. This means that our most economically disadvantaged population will find it even more difficult to break into the job market, hindering their ability to achieve financial independence.

This disastrous policy would also hurt our working families. About 42% of families with a minimum-wage earner would see a net reduction to their family income. The same Congressional Budget Office report estimates that total real family income could be reduced by $9 billion. That means less money for things that matter: bills, essential expenses, or perhaps the occasional meal out.

There are already real-life cases of local economies being hurt by minimum wage increases.

In Oakland, child care providers, restaurants, and grocery stores either scaled back on staff or closed entirely after the city’s minimum wage went from $9 to $12.25 an hour in 2015. Likewise, after Seattle passed a $15 minimum wage, higher labor costs for child care led to increased tuition costs for families and fewer hours for employees.

As the residents of cities like these know, when government raises the minimum wage, the harms are not just estimations, but carry demoralizing...

Watch: Conservative Student Assaulted at Bentley University While Promoting Tomi Lahren Event

The president of the Bentley Republicans club at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, was allegedly assaulted while asking students to sign a petition to bring conservative commentator Tomi Lahren to campus. He also was the target of vandalism to his dorm room during the Spring semester.

A video appears to show an individual at Bentley University assaulting the president of the school’s Bentley Republicans group, Alex Christoffersen, while he was collecting signatures for his group’s petition to host conservative commentator Tomi Lahren on campus. Christoffersen had been petitioning at a table, which had a “Trump” flag draped over the front of it.

According to a Bentley University police report obtained by Breitbart News, the individual — who appeared to assault Christoffersen on video — told police that he “felt very disrespected” while walking by the “Trump table,” as he does not hold the same views as President Donald Trump.

Turning Point USA founder and executive director Charlie Kirk posted the video to his Twitter account on Tuesday.

Watch the incident below.

The assault, which took place in April, was not the only backlash that Christoffersen says he faced last semester for being an open conservative on campus. Leftist students at Bentley University appeared unable to help themselves from vandalizing the conservative student’s dorm room door, on which had signs and posters of prominent conservative figures.

According to two additional purported Bentley University police reports, Christoffersen’s door had been vandalized several times during March and April, which included students spitting on his door, tearing down his posters, and taping up “Title IX” posters.

“I requested the Administrator on Duty to come to University Police,” noted the reporting officer in a March police report, “She advised to Mr. Christoffersen that she will generate a report about the incident he observed — but getting people to stop removing posters on his door would be difficult, as it is most likely different perpetrators in every instance.”

The vandalism continued, just as the Bentley University administrator expected it would in the report. A second police report filed two weeks after Christoffersen was attacked on...

Poll Shows Media Attack on Trump over ‘Squad’ Tweets Backfired

Fewer voters believe President Trump is racist and more believe he’s attacked as a racist only for political purposes, according to a poll taken after the fake news media launched a jihad to destroy the president over tweets aimed at the extremist Democrats known as “The Squad.”

In a Rasmussen poll of 1,000 likely voters taken on Monday and Tuesday, a full day after Trump blasted the Squad — which is made up of Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) — all the important numbers have moved Trump’s way.

To begin with, Trump’s overall job approval rating moved a net eight points in his direction since Monday — from 46 percent to 50 percent approval; and from 52 percent to 48 percent disapproval.

Those who believe Trump is racist dropped from 50 percent in January of 2018, to 47 percent today. A plurality of 49 percent do not believe Trump is racist.

The most interesting number comes from those who say Trump’s “opponents are accusing him of racism only for political gain.” Since January of last year, that number surged from 43 percent to 49 percent.

Another fascinating number that puts all of this into some context is how those accusing Trump of being a racist define “racism.”

Incredibly, 32 percent of Democrat dummies believe it’s “racist for any white politician to criticize the political views of a politician of color.” Among the Republican Party and Independents, that number is 16 percent.

So even though there are millions of sub-literate morons who believe that only a racist disagrees politically with a non-white politician, Trump is still moving in the right direction on this question.

This is not the first poll to show that Trump’s bold truth-telling over the weekend about these hideous, anti-Semitic socialists has benefited him politically. A Reuters/Ipsos poll take over the same time period shows that Republican support for the president jumped five points.

So what we have here is another in an ever-growing list of massive establishment media failures.

Try as the fake news media will...
