Trump Administration Announces Trade Deal With EU, Expanding US Beef Sales In Europe

President Trump on Friday signed a trade deal with EU officials that will increase U.S. beef exports to Europe.

Sales of "great American beef" will increase by 46% in the first year and rise by 90% over the next seven years. The agreement means that duty-free exports to the EU will increase from $150 million to $420 over the next seven years.

"This is a tremendous victory for American farmers, ranchers, and of course, European consumers," Trump said. "The European Union stepped up and we appreciate it."

The head of the German Farmers Association, Joachim Rukwied, said Saturday that the deal will "disadvantage European farmers."

"We are watching this with great concern," Rukwied said. "Opening the market for transatlantic imports of agricultural goods can also not be justified when considering the climate discussion."

Europeans have been concerned about U.S. practices of adding hormones or other chemicals to beef.

At the press conference with EU officials, Trump joked that he would put tariffs on 25% of all Mercedes Benz and BMW vehicles.

"I'm only kidding," Trump said. "They started to get a little bit worried. Thank you."

Trump has initiated multiple trade feuds with the EU, claiming that European subsidies have given Airbus, a France-based airplane manufacturer, an unfair advantage over U.S. planemaker Boeing.

The U.S. has taken the complaint to the World Trade Organization and if the complaint rules in Trump's favor, the U.S. could slap tariffs on all types of EU products, from Scottish Whiskey to...

Federal Judge Orders Deportation Of DACA Recipient For Smuggling Illegal Aliens

A federal judge ordered the deportation Monday of a Mexican national living in Laredo, Texas, under the DACA program, according to U.S. attorney Ryan K. Patrick.

U.S. District Judge Diana Saldana revoked Jose Yepez-Vega’s status as a recipient of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and ordered his deportation, KVEO reports. Prior to the arrest, Yepez-Vega, 22, had lived in Laredo since the age of 16.

Yepez-Vega pleaded guilty to three counts of transporting undocumented aliens within the United States for financial gain, causing risk of serious bodily injury or death and one count of conspiracy to transport immigrants.
The case unfolded on July 28, 2018 when law enforcement agents saw a vehicle exit the highway, avoiding the U.S. Border...

Exclusive Air Force Report: Hyten Accuser Has History Of Unsubstantiated Allegations

The Air Force investigation found no merit to the dozens of unsubstantiated claims made by Col. Kathryn Spletstoser in the last couple of years, as well as a history of unsubstantiated claims levied against supervisors.

An Army colonel, who claimed without evidence that the four-star general who oversees the country’s nuclear arsenal repeatedly sexually assaulted her, has a history of making unsubstantiated allegations against supervisors she claims have slighted her, the findings of an Air Force investigation show.

In the weeks since the Air Force cleared Gen. John Hyten, following a comprehensive review by the Office of Special Investigations, major media have prominently published and widely broadcast lurid and salacious claims made against him by the subordinate who was removed from her position for “toxic” leadership.

Hyten, who leads the U.S. Strategic Command (STRATCOM), was nominated in April by President Donald Trump to be vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The nomination was delayed by an investigation of the claims but was approved last week in the Senate Armed Services Committee by a vote of 20-7. The entire Senate will vote on the nomination in the weeks to come.

The Air Force investigation found no merit to the dozens of unsubstantiated claims made by Col. Kathryn Spletstoser in the last couple of years, as well as a history of unsubstantiated claims levied against supervisors. Colleagues of Spletstoser say she had anger issues, bullied subordinates, and had an incredibly foul mouth. They say she’s lying. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), who has vocally opposed Hyten “given the disturbing allegations” against him, did not show up to the Senate Executive Session in which the Air Force investigation findings were confidentially revealed and discussed.

Spletstoser levied dozens of allegations against several supervisors following the loss of her job in 2018, but she had made unsubstantiated allegations previously as well. For instance, two years after a good, but not great, performance review in 2007 that she believed had kept her from being selected for battalion command, Spletstoser appealed and claimed the man who gave her the review had sexually harassed her throughout her tour of duty in Iraq.

She claimed that on the day she left Iraq, “he gave her the choice of either getting on her scheduled flight or coming back to his containerized housing unit to renegotiate her evaluation report by performing sexual favors.” That allegation was denied by her commander.

The Army Suitability Review Board didn’t accept her request to rescind the review. She appealed that ruling to the Army Board for the Correction of Military Records, which not only denied her claim, but said, “Applicant’s scorched earth attack on the [performance review], much of which is patently specious, undermines her overall credibility. Tellingly, applicant has proffered not a single statement from a third party supporting her version of events.”

Wild Litany of Unsubstantiated Allegations

Even Spletstoser’s 2019 claims of sexual assault were not the first unsubstantiated allegations she had made against Hyten. Following a review that found her leadership “toxic” and led to her removal from her position, Spletstoser made nearly three dozen claims against Hyten and other superiors. Here’s the backstory of Spletstoser’s ongoing efforts against Hyten, according to the Air Force findings.

In March 2016, Spletstoser was assigned to Strategic Command as director of the Commander’s Action Group. Strategic Command is headquartered at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. Hyten and Spletstoser got along very well, and he repeatedly praised her and her work, although other colleagues found her to be abrasive and...

Feds probing AOC’s chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti after sudden resignation

The Feds are looking into possible campaign finance misdeeds by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff and lead rainmaker, who suddenly resigned Friday, federal sources told The Post.

The inquiry centers on two political action committees founded by Saikat Chakrabarti, the top aide who quit along with Ocasio-Cortez spokesman Corbin Trent, the sources said. Trent left to join the congresswoman’s 2020 re-election campaign.

The brash Chakrabarti, who masterminded Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign and steered her proposed Green New Deal, had caused uproar in the halls of Congress with a series of combative tweets that contributed to a rift between his rookie boss and Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“People were not happy that he used his Twitter account to comment about members and the bills that he and his boss oppose,” a senior House Democratic staffer said. “There was a series of colliding and cascading grievances.”

The two PACs being probed, Brand New Congress and Justice Democrats, were both set up by Chakrabarti to support progressive candidates across the country.

But they funneled more than $1 million in political donations into two private companies that Chakrabarti also incorporated and controlled, according to Federal Election Commission filings and a complaint filed in March with the regulatory agency.

In 2016 and 2017, the PACs raised about $3.3 million, mostly from small donors. A third of the cash was transferred to two private companies whose names are similar to one of the PACs — Brand New Congress LLC and Brand New Campaign LLC — federal campaign filings show.Enlarge ImageAlexandria Ocasio-Cortez

While PACs must follow stringent federal rules on disclosure of spending and fundraising, private companies are not subject to the same transparency.

The complaint filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group based in Virginia, alleged that the LLCs appeared to have been set up to obscure those federal reporting requirements.

In March, when the FEC complaints were filed, a lawyer for the PACs, the LLCs and the Ocasio-Cortez campaign told the Washington Post that the arrangement “fully complied with the law and the highest ethical standards” and that Chakrabarti never profited from any of the political entities he formed.

They may also have violated the $5,000 limit on contributions from federal PACs to candidates, according to...

BREAKING: Mass Shooter STOPPED by Law Enforcement in Texas

William Patrick Williams, 19, was arrested Thursday. He was planning to carry out a mass shooting at a Texas hotel.

Texas law enforcement appear to have thwarted yet another mass shooting, taking a suspect into custody on Thursday.

The suspect had told his grandmother that he planned to “shoot up” an area hotel and commit suicide in July. The man’s grandmother convinced him to allow her to take him to a hospital for mental health treatment instead, placing him on the radar of Texas authorities.

William Patrick Williams, 19, was arrested by ATF and FBI special agents at the hotel for acquiring a firearm under false pretenses. Williams had misrepresented his address on a NICS (National Instant Criminal Background Check) form, stating that he resided with relatives, when he had in fact moved to a different address. Falsely listing an address on a gun transaction firearm form is a serious criminal offense.

Williams had filled out the form when purchasing an AK-style rifle in July. He had been planning to use the rifle for a massacre at the unnamed hotel. Law enforcement acted swiftly when Williams booked a room at the hotel, and when they raided the room, they discovered seventeen loaded magazines, several knifes, tactical clothing, and a t-shirt with the ominous message of...

Ohio Shooter Connor Betts Was A Leftist Antifa Supporter, Praised Bernie Sanders & Elizabeth Warren

Ohio mass shooter Connor Betts is a self-described "leftist" and "atheist" who praised Antifa, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and wrote "Kill every fascist" on his Twitter page, according to a report from Heavy.com.

He also repeatedly tweeted out "Hail Satan," praise for the terrorist who attacked an ICE facility last month and repeated Alexandria Ocasio Cortez's "concentration camps" meme.

Betts' social media footprint is the exact opposite of the "white supremacist" terror narrative the media has been pushing all day.

In his Twitter profile, Connor Betts, the 24-year-old suspected gunman in the Dayton mass shooting, wrote, "he/him / anime fan / metalhead / leftist / i'm going to hell and i'm not coming back." http://bit.ly/2KpcrCL
