House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Jim Jordan (R-OH) argued on Tuesday that there are four consistent facts that undermine House Democrats’ impeachment strategy.
“There are four fundamental facts that have never changed, never changed,” Jordan told reporters following a closed-door congressional hearing. “Mr. Vindman is not the first one we have talked to who has been on the call — we have heard from President Trump and President Zelensky. We have got the transcript.”

Author who Clinton ally sought to silence speaks out: Russiagate was 'designed to assist Clinton campaign'
Following alleged attempts by Clinton ally Sidney Blumenthal to stop author Lee Smith's book from being published, Smith spoke about Russiagate on "Sunday Morning Futures" and claimed the entire saga was a political hit, intended to help Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
Smith discussed the involvement of Stefan Halper, who he claimed was a political operative being paid exorbitant sums of money to help bring down then-candidate Donald Trump, under the cover of conducting "studies" on foreign governments.
"What we see is these are not actual studies -- we hear that he was reportedly the FBI’s confidential source, sent against the Trump campaign," he told host Maria Bartiromo.
"What he really is... is a political operative," Smith continued. "This was a political operation designed to assist the Clinton campaign. We talk a lot about the FBI, and DOJand we’re right to focus on the very bad, likely criminal things they did. But it’s important to remember that the primary beneficiary was the Clinton campaign."
A source familiar with the matter told Fox News that Blumenthal claimed the book – “The Plot Against the President: The True Story of How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History,” by Lee Smith – was defamatory.
“Blumenthal tried to stop it from being published,” the source told Fox News, saying the Hillary Clinton confidant sent threatening letters to Smith and publisher Center Street, a division of Hachette Book Group.
Fox News reached out to Blumenthal, who did not immediately respond.
“The Clinton machine wanted to intimidate Lee,” the source said. Smith himself would not discuss the legal threat but stipulated that the Clinton camp is standing firm against his book.
“People in the Clinton world are keen for this book not to come out,” Smith said.

On Saturday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez put her anarcho-socialist seal of approval on the anti-cop demonstrations that went down in Brooklyn on Friday night. Her defiant tweet of support included a video of demonstrators jumping over subway turnstiles, yelling insults at police, and chanting, “How do you spell racist? N-Y-P-D,” according to Fox News.
That video posted by a third party was later deleted from Twitter.

Maxwell, who has gone missing since her pedophile boss was found dead in his New York jail cell last August, is said to have attended the elite “Campfire” last year.
The event is a weekend retreat for elite VIPs hosted by the Amazon CEO where attendees are treated to opulent meals and luxury gifts.
Dailymail.co.uk reports: Maxwell, 57, who has been named in allegations involving Epstein since 2011, is said to have been an attendee at the super-secret weekend three times, including last year, Vice reports.
The daughter of British newspaper publisher Robert Maxwell is said to have been at the event with tech CEO Scott Borgerson, who denies being in a relationship with Ghislaine but who DailyMail.com revealed to be living with her at his secluded $3 million oceanfront mansion outside of Boston.
She did not attend Campfire this year in the wake of Epstein’s death in early October and the only public sighting of her since then has been a set of photographs that purported to show Maxwell at an In-N-Out in Los Angeles.
DailyMail.com revealed that those photos were staged, possibly to throw investigators off of her trail.
Maxwell and Epstein both boasted an extensive and surprising list of social acquaintances.
In fact in 2011 Bezos attended the same Long Beach dinner as the notoriously well-connected pedophile. That was two years after Epstein was convicted over underage sex crimes.
