Bluetooth: Why Modern Tech is Named After Powerful King of Denmark and Norway

Harald “Blåtand” Gormsson was a King of Denmark and Norway who lived during the 10th century AD. He was responsible for the unification of Denmark. Following this feat, Harald set his sights beyond the borders of his own kingdom, and conquered Norway. Whilst the majority of his subjects were followers of paganism, Harald was favorably inclined towards Christianity. He did what he could to promote this foreign faith within his kingdom. Today, Harald Blåtand (‘Bluetooth’) is a household name thanks to the wireless technology standard named after him.

Unifying Denmark

The exact year of Harald’s birth is unknown, though it is traditionally taken to have been in 910/911 AD. Harald was the son of King Gorm the Old and Queen Thyra. Gorm the Old was the first king in a new line of Danish kings, i.e. House of Knýtlinga (‘Cnut’s Descendants’), or the House of Gorm, and had commenced the unification of Denmark during his reign. As his power base was established in Jelling, in northern Jutland, this royal family is sometimes known also as the Jelling Dynasty. Harald’s mother was Thyra, the daughter of a nobleman from Sunderjylland (Schleswig in modern day Germany). Whilst Gorm was a devout follower of the Norse gods, Thyra was inclined towards Christianity, and it has been speculated that this contributed to the future king’s favorable view of this foreign religion.

King Gorm the Old receives the news of the death of his son Canute.

When Gorm died, probably in 935 AD, Harald became the new king. He began his reign by continuing with the effort to unify Denmark, which was left unfinished by his father. He succeeded in doing so, and proceeded to build up the defenses of his kingdom by strengthening the existing fortifications and building new ones. In addition, Harald instituted a policy of tolerance towards Christians, and even allowed the Christian faith to be spread amongst his subjects.

Advancing Christianity

Having attained peace within his realm, Harald could now focus on issues outside his kingdom. In 954 AD, Erik Bloodaxe, the (former) King of Norway, was killed in battle during a campaign in Northumberland, England. His wife, Gunnhild, who was also...

Pete Buttigieg's father was a Marxist professor who lauded the Communist Manifesto

The father of Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg was a Marxist professor who spoke fondly of the Communist Manifesto and dedicated a significant portion of his academic career to the work of Italian Communist Party founder Antonio Gramsci, an associate of Vladimir Lenin.

Joseph Buttigieg, who died in January at the age of 71, immigrated to the U.S. in the 1970s from Malta and in 1980 joined the University of Notre Dame faculty, where he taught modern European literature and literary theory. He supported an updated version of Marxism that jettisoned some of Marx and Engel's more doctrinaire theories, though he was undoubtedly Marxist.

He was an adviser to Rethinking Marxism, an academic journal that published articles “that seek to discuss, elaborate, and/or extend Marxian theory,” and a member of the editorial collective of Boundary 2, a journal of postmodern theory, literature, and culture. He spoke at many Rethinking Marxism conferences and other gatherings of prominent Marxists.

In a 2000 paper for Rethinking Marxism critical of the approach of Human Rights Watch, Buttigieg, along with two other authors, refers to "the Marxist project to which we subscribe."

In 1998, he wrote in an article for the Chronicle of Higher Education about an event in New York City celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Manifesto. He also participated in the event.

"If The Communist Manifesto was meant to liberate the proletariat, the Manifesto itself in recent years needed liberating from...

“I’ve Seen the Documents” – Rep. Ratcliffe Confirms Obama DS Was Spying on Trump Camp & Lying About It Way Before Opening Crossfire Hurricane

There is a pretty good ‘rule of thumb’ when analyzing anything that comes out of the mouths of DS assets, especially if they are in the ‘intelligence’ field: If their lips are moving, they are lying.

Don’t believe me? Well, here are a few examples:

Now, recall James Clapper.

Clapper is an IC veteran and ‘on June 5, 2010, President Barack Obama nominated Clapper to replace Dennis C. Blair as United States Director of National Intelligence. Clapper was unanimously confirmed by the Senate for the position on August 5, 2010.

Following the June 2013 leak of documents detailing the NSA practice of collecting telephone metadata on millions of Americans’ telephone calls, Clapper was accused of perjury for telling a congressional committee hearing that the NSA does not collect any type of data on millions of Americans earlier that year. One senator asked for his resignation, and a group of 26 senators complained about Clapper’s responses under questioning. In November 2016, Clapper resigned as director of national intelligence, effective at the end of President Obama’s term.’ (According to Wikipedia)

How about one of my favorite Communist Party for President Voters, John Brennan.

Brennan served as Obama’s CIA Director. Many students of Spygate suspect John Brennan was running point on the 2016 election interference campaign, which we believe was initiated by...

US media not reporting Omar’s leading charge to reduce sanctions on Iran

Rep. Ilhan Omar, who claimed in an op-ed for The Washington Post in October that she is opposed to sanctions, is an active supporter of the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions movement aimed at destroying Israel. The woman is a lesson in contradictions. Her latest brazen move is to “strongly urge” an end to some sanctions against Iran, our mortal enemy.

Leading the charge, Ilhan Omar, along with 16 other hard-left congresspeople, sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Mnuchin “strongly urging” the administration to reduce sanctions against the terror nation.

Iran is the leading sponsor of terrorism in the world. They persecute Christians, subjugate women, jail and slaughter their own people for political reasons. They hang and behead gays. More importantly, they want a nuclear bomb to destroy the West and Israel.

News of this letter and Omar’s role in it is not reported in the U.S. press. We had to go to the Jewish Press and to Twitter to find this information.

The letter led by hard-left Reps Ilhan Omar, Raul Grijalva, and Barbara Lee, urged the administration to “conduct a sweeping review” of the sanctions campaign.

ECONOMIC WARFARE, UH, YES

Omar characterized the sanctions as “economic warfare.” That’s better than the real thing which Iran constantly threatens.

“The sanctions put in place by this Administration against Iran are nothing less than economic warfare,” said Omar in a statement. “After years of improving relations between the United States and Iran, the sanctions have devastated that country’s middle class, increased hostility toward the United States, and led to a humanitarian catastrophe. One dire effect has been an entirely preventable shortage of lifesaving medicine. This Administration must answer for their attacks on Iranians’ basic human right to affordable medicine.”

The letter focuses on humanitarian concerns and claims that Iranians are deprived of medicine, although they admit Iran produces 97% of its medicines locally.

The letter even calls Iran’s violations of the 1955 Treaty of Amity, “alleged,” and suggests relations with Iran had improved under the last administration, only to be...
