Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.

Walter E. Williams Warns Virginia About Gov. Ralph Northam’s Gun Registry Plan
Columnist and George Mason economics Professor Walter E. Williams is warning Virginia residents about Gov. Ralph Northam’s (D) gun registry plan.
Northam has been pushing an all-out ban on AR-15s and similar rifles for some time, but he recently changed the scope of the ban in the face of the growing Second Amendment Sanctuary movement.
On December 10, 2019, Breitbart News reported that Northam changed his position from supporting an across-the-board ban on possession of such weapons to supporting a ban only in a situation where a person refuses to register the firearm with the government. The Virginia Mercury quoted Northam spokeswoman Alena Yarmosky saying, “The governor’s assault weapons ban will include a grandfather clause for individuals who already own assault weapons, with the requirement they register their weapons before the end of a designated grace period.”
On December 27, 2019, Walter E. Williams used a Fox News op-ed to warn Virginians “not to fall for the registration trick.” He said, “Knowing who owns what weapons is the first step to confiscation.”
Williams added:
James Madison, in Federalist Paper No. 46 wrote that the Constitution preserves “the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation … (where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.”
Thomas Jefferson wrote: “What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.”
Too many Americans believe the Second Amendment grants Americans the right to own firearms only to go hunting and for self-protection. The framers of our Constitution had no such intent in mind.
Eighty-six of Virginia’s 95 counties have declared themselves...

UN Moves Towards Handing Dictatorships Power to Control the Internet
Legitimizing web blackouts and free speech censorship.
The United Nations wants to hand power to dictatorial regimes like China to control the Internet, prompting fears of a massive new free speech purge.
The General Assembly has approved a resolution sponsored by China and Russia to set up a committee of “international experts” whose role would be to stop “the use of information and communications technologies for criminal purposes.”
However, many caution that the move is merely a back door for authoritarian regimes to further censor dissent.
“The United States, European powers and rights groups fear that the language is code for legitimizing crackdowns on expression, with numerous countries defining criticism of the government as “criminal,” reports AFP.
Human Rights Watch said the list of sponsors for the resolution is “a rogue’s gallery of some of the earth’s most repressive governments” and “gives countries legal cover for internet blackouts and censorship, while creating the potential for criminalizing free speech.”
Governments like China already censor and turn off the Internet during times of civil unrest while doling out ‘social credit score’ punishments for those who criticize the state.
The Communist country is also rolling out a plan to force its citizens to pass a facial recognition test to use the Internet. Criticized the authorities? No Internet for you.
We predicted that all this would come to fruition nearly 10 years ago in an article entitled ‘Cybersecurity Measures Will Mandate Government “ID Tokens” To Use The Internet’.
“Under the guise of “cybersecurity,” the government is moving to discredit and shut down the existing Internet infrastructure in the pursuit of a new, centralized, regulated world...
Joe Biden: I will not comply with Senate subpoena in impeachment trial
In an interview with the editorial board of the De Moines Register in Iowa on December 27, former Vice President Joe Biden confirmed again that he won’t comply with Senate subpoena in Trump’s impeachment trial.
“What are you going to cover?” Joe Biden said to Register Executive Editor Carol Hunter in response to a question about the possibility of his participation in the trial.
“You guys are going to cover for three weeks anything that I said,” Biden said to Hunter. “And (Trump’s) going to get away.”
“You guys buy into it all the time. Not a joke …” Joe Biden added. “Think what it’s about. It’s all about what he does all the time, his entire career. Take the focus off. This guy...
BREAKING: Durham Investigation Puts CIA Director Gina Haspel On Notice
The ongoing Durham investigation is causing seismic rumbles throughout D.C. corridors these days as a number of high-ranking government officials, both past and present, brace for impact.

CIA Director Gina Haspel is the latest Intelligence official to reportedly be dragged into John Durham’s investigation of the Russia probe. On Friday, Politico reported Haspel may have information on former CIA Director John Brennan, who served under the Obama administration.
That information could help Durham learn whether the CIA used unauthorized surveillance on 2016 Trump campaign officials.
Haspel has a controversial history of protecting the agency from political scrutiny and has rarely made public statements about ongoing intelligence matters.
“Over the past year, our leadership team has taken steps to improve CIA’s ability to tackle the many challenges we face, and our efforts are beginning to pay off,” she stated. “We’ve devoted more time, money and creativity to our effort against some of our nation’s toughest adversaries.”
Haspel was the head of the CIA’s London bureau in 2016, when suspected informant Joseph Mifsud allegedly told Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos about Russia obtaining Hillary Clinton’s emails. She was reportedly briefed on the matter, but referred it to the FBI.
(NOTE: This puts Haspel directly in the mix of what was going on before, during, and directly after, the...
