CNN Settles in Covington Lawsuit

CNN has reportedly elected to settle its lawsuit with Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann.

Per Fox19, Sandmann originally sought $800 million from CNN, The Washington Post and NBC in total; the dates for the latter lawsuits have not yet been determined. CNN reportedly settled 275 million. The multitude of lawsuits were filed in response to an alleged January 2019 incident at the annual March for Life rally. Nick Sandmann traveled to D.C., along with many of his classmates, for the annual pro-life gathering.

Sandmann garnered the attention of mainstream media outlets when a video that gave the illusion that he was ridiculing Nathan Phillips, a Native American man present at the Indigenous People’s March, which occurred at the same time as the March for Life. Phillips stood in front of Sandmann, who was wearing a Make America Great Again hat, chanting and beating a drum.

Of course, as the full video shows, Sandmann did not harass Phillips in any way. As is typical of the March for Life, these attendees were peaceful. The mainstream media took this video out of context in the interest of defaming a conservative teenager. Mainstream media outlets, which were all widely respected at one time, jumped at the chance to create a racial hoax around an innocent teenager. CNN commentator Reza Aslan even went as far as to say that...

Iranian Government Passes Bill Declaring All US Military Personnel “Terrorist Entities”

‘Any aid to these forces will be considered as cooperation in a terrorist act’

Legislation was passed in Iran’s parliament Tuesday that declares all US military personnel as ‘terrorist entities’.

A report by the Islamic Republic News Agency (Iranian state media) notes that Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly overwhelmingly approved the bill, which will now become law.

The legislation, signed by all 223 members of Iran’s Parliament, describes “all members of the Pentagon, all affiliated companies, institutions, agents and commanders,” as terrorist organizations as far as Iran is concerned.

's Parliament unanimously approved a motion designating the & all subsidiaries following the assassination of General on President Trump's direct order v @Iran_NewsRoom.

Presumably, ‘affiliated companies’ means any company that has a contract with, or provides technology to the Pentagon.

“Any aid to these forces, including military, intelligence, financial, technical, service or logistical, will be considered as cooperation in a terrorist act,” the bill declares.

According to reports, the bill is an amendment to a previous motion passed in April last year which designated the US Central Command as a “terrorist organisation” and the US a “state sponsor of terrorism”.

That motion came in response to President Trump designating the Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization, as well as imposing economic and travel sanctions.

The new law states that the Iranian government will pledge $220 million to the IRGC to “reinforce its defense power in vengeance for...

How To Have Successful Military Missions 101:

Trump has been warning Iran to back off since he took office (here’s the timeline)

While the unhinged Left including Democrats and their propagandists in the “mainstream media” continue to wail about President Donald Trump’s decision to take out the world’s foremost terrorist scumbag, Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, we thought it appropriate to remind everyone just how many times the Iranians were warned.

Prior to his taking office, no one could be certain that Trump would be a man of his word, but as we’ve come to see over his three years in the White House, when he makes a promise, he keeps a promise.

That said, we (and others) were warning the Iranians that he was no Barack Obama — that, in fact, he was the anti-Obama, and the Iranians would do well to keep that in mind.

Early on, the Iranians tested Trump — and why not, given the fact that the Obama administration enabled and empowered the murderous regime to get the ‘nuclear deal’ — as we noted in December 2016, a month before his inauguration:

A top Iranian general says his country’s air defenses have “warned off” more than a dozen aircraft and drones during military drills the country is currently conducting, according to state media which, naturally, is nothing more than a propaganda arm for the government. Still, the claim bears some consideration, because it fits a pattern of increasingly aggressive behavior by Tehran since the Obama administration essentially paid the country off over a bogus “nuclear deal” so President Obama could have a “legacy.”

Behavior that, ultimately, will not end well for Iran, given the foreign policy and military team President-elect Donald J. Trump is assembling. …

Add to these confrontations the fact that the Obama administration did not punish Iran for its blatantly illegal capture of U.S. sailors in January, paid what was essentially a ransom to get back four American hostages (setting a terrible precedent in the process), and has made a “deal” that sees Iran keeping its nuclear infrastructure in place over the long term, and you can begin to understand why the mullahs running the Islamic republic feel emboldened to act out against American forces.

But this acting out will come at a terrible price under a Trump administration, if Iran continues to push and goad U.S. forces in the Persian Gulf and throughout the Middle East.

We’ve said it before and will say it again: The Iranians are playing with fire, betting that Trump is the buffoonish cartoon character the political Left has made him out to be. He isn’t. And if the mullahs make one wrong calculation, they’re going to find out just how wrong they were by paying a terrible price.

In February 2017, in response to provocative statements and actions from the Iranians, we noted again they were playing with fire — Trump fire:

One of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard commanders was talking tough again this week from the safety of his own country, bragging to his men that his country will give the U.S. a “strong slap in the face” if we continue to underestimate Iran’s capabilities.

As Reuters reported, the ‘warning’ came as Iran’s most elite forces were...

BDS supporter Ilhan Omar condemns sanctions against Iran

Rep. Ilhan Omar — who is a big supporter of the BDS movement, Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions against Israel — condemned the additional sanctions against Iran. She is Pro-Iran, anti-Israel, and pro-terrorist.

She asked President Trump to free terrorist Hoda Abdelmonem. Omar also asked for leniency for nine ISIS terrorists. In addition, when asked, she wouldn’t disavow communism or al-Qaeda.

However, she is against sanctions leveled on Iran.

Two Earthquakes Hit Iran ‘Close to Nuclear Power Plant’

Two earthquakes measuring 4.9 and 4.5 in magnitudes hit Iran on Wednesday, Jan. 8, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The first 4.9 magnitude earthquake struck about 6 miles southeast of Borazjan, a city in and the capital of Dashtestan County, Bushehr Province, at around 2:20 a.m. and had a depth of 10 miles.

Strategic Sentinel reports on their Twitter that the earthquake struck close to the Bushehr nuclear plant and that the depth and epicenter indicate it was a natural event. A similar earthquake struck in December last year, they tweeted.

A second 4.5 magnitude quake struck about an hour later on Wednesday morning with its epicenter at 10 plus miles southeast of the same city. It also measured 6 miles in depth, USGS said.

There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The earthquakes come just hours after Iranian officials said late Tuesday that it had conducted missile strikes on Iraqi military bases that hold U.S. troops in retaliation for the death of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani’s death in Baghdad, according to Iranian state-run media outlets.

Hours after the missiles were fired, a Ukrainian plane carrying at least 170 passengers and crew crashed shortly after taking off from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Airport.

State television reported that the plane crashed at 6.22 a.m. local time, and four helicopters and 22 ambulances were sent to the crash site but were battling severe fires. The plane went down just a few hours after the...

Indian Ocean Naval Base Diego Garcia: The Launchpad To Attack Iran

The Indian Ocean island Naval Base of Diego Garcia is the key launchpad for United States in case of an attack on Iran in the wake of the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in a drone strike. The Pentagon has send six B-52 strategic bombers to military base on Diego Garcia that is beyond the range of Iran’s ballistic missiles to prepare to hit Tehran if given the order.

B-52 Bombers deployed at Diego Garcia

The US Defense Department is sending six B-52 bombers to the Diego Garcia military base in the northern Indian Ocean as preparations for possible military action against Iran move forward.

The Pentagon is deploying six B-52 Stratofortress bombers (like the ones seen in the above stock image) to a military base in the northern Indian Ocean, according to a CNN report from Monday

Pentagon officials told CNN on Monday that the B-52 will be available for operations against the Islamic Republic if ordered into action, though the deployment does not signal a decision has been made about any attack plans, as reported by Dailymail.

The United States maintains several military bases in a number of Middle Eastern countries in close proximity to Iran, but it chose to deploy its bombers to Diego Garcia because it is out of reach of Iran’s longest range missiles, according to the Pentagon.

This is the second time in the last year that the American military has deployed B-52 bomber aircraft to the region due to rising tensions with Iran.

In May, the White House ordered six B-52s to deploy to an American military base in Qatar as well as other bases in ‘southwest Asia’ after it received reports of alleged threats from Iran.
