After Pro-Second Amendment Rally, Virginia Democrats Kill Pro-Gun Legislation and Advance Red Flag Gun Confiscation

A day after the pro-gun rally in Richmond, Virginia, Democrats are quickly moving their anti-gun agenda forward.

First, they started off by killing pro-gun legislation.

Some of these bills included proposals to make it easier to carry guns in places of worship, bring Constitutional Carry to Virginia, limit gun-free zones, and strengthen mandatory sentences for crimes involving guns.

Three Republicans, Delegates John McGuire, Dave LaRock, and Wendell Walker, introduced bills to repeal a state law that bans guns, knives, and other weapons in places of worship unless there is “good and sufficient reason” to bring them on the premises.

Several Republicans cited Jack Wilson’s heroics in a Texas church where he stopped a potential mass shooter last month as the reason to reform Virginia’s gun laws. This bill would be killed in a panel by a 5 to 3 vote.

The gun-free zone reform bill would have made it easier for victims of mass shootings to sue localities that establish gun-free zones but fail to implement measures to secure these areas. The public safety subcommittee killed the bill on a 6 to 2 vote.

A Republican delegate, Charles Poindexter introduced a bill that would have increased mandatory minimum sentences for felonies involving guns.

The proposal would have raised the minimum sentence for a first offense from three to five years and increased sentences for subsequent offenses from five years to 10 years.

“This gives our prosecutors and our police an excellent tool to use to address those people that really use guns in an illegal fashion,” Poindexter declared. “It focuses on gun violence itself.”

This bill failed on strict party lines.

John McGuire, who is vying for the GOP nomination to challenge incumbent Democrat congresswoman Abigail Spanberger, sponsored Constitutional...

Japanese Shopkeeper Hangs Sign in Response to Coronavirus Panic: “No Chinese Allowed”

“I do not want to spread the virus.”

The mysterious new coronavirus now spreading around the globe prompted one shopkeeper in Japan to hang a sign outside his door announcing “no Chinese allowed.”

Reacting to hysteria about the virus, the shopkeeper in the mountain town of Hakone, a popular destination for Chinese tourists, posted the sign which reads, “No Chinese are allowed to enter the store…I do not want to spread the virus.”

“I want to protect myself from the virus and I don’t want Chinese people to enter the store,” the man told SCMP.

Despite being attacked on social media, the shopkeeper isn’t breaking any laws because there aren’t any against discrimination in Japan on the books.

The new coronavirus began spreading in the Chinese city of Wuhan from what authorities believe was a seafood market that “conducted illegal transactions of wild animals.”

It has since spread to other Chinese cities as well as globally, including cases in the U.S.

There have been at least 440 confirmed cases of the virus and nine people have died.

Authorities are advising people to stop traveling in an out of ...

French President Macron Blinks, Backs Down in Trade Dispute With President Trump

French President Macron blinked and backed down in a dispute with President Trump and the United States over a digital tax that unfairly targets American technology companies:

“French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday he had a “great discussion” with President Donald Trump over a digital tax planned by Paris and said the two countries would work together to avoid a rise in tariffs.

Great discussion with @realDonaldTrump on digital tax. We will work together on a good agreement to avoid tariff escalation.

The two leaders agreed to the truce after Paris offered to suspend down payments for this year’s digital tax and Washington promised to keep negotiating towards a solution rather than acting on a tariff threat, French sources said.

Specifically, Macron and Trump agreed to hold off on a potential tariff war until the end of 2020, a French diplomatic source said, and to push ahead with broader negotiations at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to rewrite the rules of international taxation during that period.

“They agreed to give a chance to negotiations until the end of the year,” the source said. “During that time period, there won’t be successive tariffs.”

France decided in July to apply a 3% levy on revenue from digital services earned in France by companies with revenues of more than 25 million euros ($28 million) in France and 750 million euros worldwide.

Washington threatened to impose trade tariffs on French Champagne, handbags and other goods in response. It complained the tax unfairly targeted U.S. internet companies, a claim Paris dismissed.

French authorities have repeatedly said any international agreement on digital taxation reached within the OECD would immediately supersede the French tax.

But concerned that the United States would snub the OECD negotiations and proceed with tariffs on French goods, France has offered to suspend until the end of the year down payments on its digital tax that would have been due in April.

“What we’re proposing is to give ourselves time and to show our goodwill, to postpone the remaining payments to...

DHS Approves $100k Grant of Taxpayers’ Money to Terror-Tied CAIR

Long discredited for its terrorist ties and funding, CAIR has been blacklisted by the FBI after federal prosecutors named the jihad group as an unindicted co-conspirator. Infiltrators in our agencies must be purged.

Go to TruthAboutCAIR.com.

CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. During that case, a captured internal document of the Muslim Brotherhood was released, naming CAIR’s parent organization, the Islamic Association for Palestine, as one of its allied groups, and explaining that the mission of Brotherhood groups in the U.S. was “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR’s cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Ibrahim Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements about how Islamic law should be imposed in...
