New Pro-Biden Super PAC Ad Spreads Two Debunked Claims Against Trump
A new advertisement from a pro-Joe Biden super PAC makes two debunked claims about President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
"Donald Trump didn't create the coronavirus. But he is the one who called hoax [sic]. Who eliminated the pandemic response team. And who let the virus spread unchecked across America," a voiceover in Unite the Country's ad states. "Crisis comes to every president. This one failed."
The claims that Trump called the virus a "hoax" and "eliminated the pandemic response team" have both been fact-checked and found to be misleading, at best.
A Washington Post fact-check gave a Biden advertisement that was edited to show Trump calling the virus a "hoax" four Pinocchios, the fact-check's worst rating.
The advertisement edited a speech from a Trump rally on Feb. 28 to show him referring to the coronavirus as "their new hoax." Trump was referring, however, to Democratic attacks against his administration's response to...

Trump’s approval surges to highest in 2 years; 61% approve his handling of coronavirus
President Trump’s approval rating among registered American voters has rocketed to 50%. That’s the highest it has been since August 2018, when he received a 51% approval rating.
Similarly, a whopping 61% of American voters approve of Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic despite the nonstop negative media coverage. These findings were uncovered in the latest Harris/Hill poll.
While the Left and their media henchmen have been fear-mongering and catastrophizing every facet of the coronavirus outbreak to attack Trump, the crisis underscores that the public sees through media gaslighting.
“People are rallying around him though, of course, we see differences between Democrats, Republicans, and independents,” Karlyn Bowman, a public opinion analyst at the American Enterprise Institute, told The Hill. “Those could become powerful over time as the coronavirus continues.”
Fifty percent of registered voters approved of President Trump’s job performance, while 50% disapproved, according to the latest Harris/Hill poll.

A climate change group that aligns itself with Extinction Rebellion posted stickers claiming that coronavirus is a “cure” for the “disease” that is humanity.
