ViacomCBS Drops Nick Cannon After Anti-White, Anti-Semitic Tirade
ViacomCBS dropped Nick Cannon from its MTV network following an anti-Semitic tirade in which the host, among other things, accused Jewish people of controlling the global banking system.
Nick Cannon says white people are "a little less," "closer to animals," "the true savages," "acting out of a deficiency so the only way they can act is evil." When does he get canceled? pic.twitter.com/vK3TBDW9i8— Adam Ford (@Adam4d) July 14, 2020

"ViacomCBS condemns bigotry of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism," the media conglomerate, which owns MTV, VH-1, and Cannon’s ‘Wild ‘N Out’ television show, said in a statement Wednesday. "We have spoken with Nick Cannon about an episode of his podcast ‘Cannon’s Class’ on YouTube, which promoted hateful speech and spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories."
Cannon sparked a firestorm of criticism earlier in the week after he praised anti-Semitic leader Louis Farrakhan and spread conspiracy theories about Jewish people during an episode of his YouTube show. Cannon issued a non-apology in which he said he does not condone hate speech.
Fox Television and the producers of Cannon's upcoming daytime talk show have remained silent about...
Adam Schiff is panicking about criminal investigation led by federal prosecutor
How Attorney General William Barr may yet unleash the power of the Justice Department has House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff unnerved.
The California Democrat invoked U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is conducting a criminal inquiry of the federal Russia investigation, as he discussed his dread that "more serious abuse" of federal law enforcement will happen in the coming days.
"One of the concerns I have with Bill Barr is that the worst is yet to come. I mean, he's got a terrible, destructive track record as it is, and it may get worse in the coming days," Schiff said in a recent episode of the Talking Feds podcast. "But what we have seen largely is Barr's intervention to protect the president."
As examples, Schiff mentioned Barr's rollout of special counsel Robert Mueller's report and "intervention" in cases spun off from the Russia investigation to "help Trump cronies" such as Roger Stone and former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
"What we have not yet had full visibility on is not Barr's use of the shield to protect corruption writ large of his boss, Donald Trump, but the sword," Schiff continued. "How he may be using the power of the Justice Department through Durham or others to go after the president's enemies. And in many respects, that is a far greater, more serious abuse of the power of the Justice Department than his use of the shield."
It's a well-worn line of criticism for Schiff, who has complained since last year that the Justice Department has kept the Democratic-led House in the dark about its inquiries into whether there was inappropriate "spying" on Trump's 2016 campaign and...
Zogby Poll: Joe Biden Underperforming Among Black Voters
A nationwide poll released on Monday indicates former Vice President Joe Biden is underperforming compared to prior Democrat nominees among black voters.
The poll, conducted by John Zogby Strategies and EMI Research Solutions, surveying 1,000 voters nationally, found only 77 percent of black voters are committed to voting for Biden in the general election. Meanwhile, according to the results, 14 percent of black voters plan to support President Donald Trump, with another nine percent still not having made up their mind.
If accurate, the numbers pose a major problem for Biden and his party moving into the general election. Most Democrat strategists point to a drop-off in black turnout between 2012 and 2016 as the primary reason for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lost.
During that race, Clinton received 88 percent of the black vote, according to exit polls. Although impressive, the numbers were significantly lower than the 93 percent former President Barack Obama garnered on his way to reelection in 2012.
The drop-off was most significant in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin—states that went narrowly for Trump in that election after having backed Democrats at the presidential level for nearly three decades. For example, data from the Michigan secretary of state’s office indicates Clinton received 75,000 fewer votes in Wayne County—where Detroit is located—than Obama did in 2012. Even though Clinton still won the country by a substantial margin, the decrease in support ensured Clinton lost the state to Trump, who made strong inroads with white working-class voters, by more than 10,000 votes.
Many believe that if black turnout was the same in 2016 as it was in 2012, Clinton would have won the presidency, despite Trump’s populist appeal to blue-collar whites. As such, Democrats are pushing Biden to do everything possible to hit the 2012 margins, starting with tapping a woman of color as...
'Black Lives Matter Is Not A Black-Owned Business': George Soros Pledges $220M Towards BLM Initiatives
The media said last month it was a "conspiracy theory" that George Soros was "fueling" the Black Lives Matter movement with his billions in ill-gotten plunder.
On Monday, Soros announced he's pouring $220 into various BLM initiatives.
From The New York Times, "George Soros's Foundation Pours $220 Million Into Racial Equality Push":
Of the $220 million, the foundation will invest $150 million in five-year grants for selected groups, including progressive and emerging organizations like the Black Voters Matter Fund and Repairers of the Breach, a group founded by the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II of the Poor People's Campaign. The money will also support more established Black political organizations like the Equal Justice Initiative, which was founded by the civil rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson and depicted in the 2019 movie "Just Mercy."
The Open Society Foundations will invest an additional $70 million in local grants supporting changes to policing and criminal justice. This money will also be used to pay for opportunities for civic engagement and to organize internships and political training for young people.
From the Open Society Foundations:
"This is the time for urgent and bold action to address racial injustice in America," said Alex Soros, deputy chair of the Open Society Foundations. "These investments will empower proven leaders in the Black community to reimagine policing, end mass incarceration, and eliminate the barriers to opportunity that have been the source of inequity for too long."
In a 2018 interview with the New York Times, Alex Soros described the motivation for his father's activism in this way:
Alex told me that for many years, his father had not been eager to advertise his Judaism because "this was something he was almost killed for." But he had always "identified firstly as a Jew," and his philanthropy was ultimately an expression of his Jewish identity, in that he felt a solidarity with other minority groups and also because he recognized that a Jew could only truly be safe in a world in which all minorities were protected. Explaining his father's motives, he...
