Detroit Absentee Ballot Chaos: ‘So Inaccurate We Can’t Even Attempt to Make Right’

Wayne County, Michigan, leaders want the Secretary of State to intervene after there was chaos while counting absentee ballots on primary election night.

The Detroit News reported:

Recorded ballot counts in 72% of Detroit’s absentee voting precincts didn’t match the number of ballots cast, spurring officials in Michigan’s largest county to ask the state to investigate ahead of a pivotal presidential election.

Without an explanation from Detroit election workers for the mismatches, the Wayne County Board of Canvassers requested this week for Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s office to examine the “training and processes” used in Detroit’s Aug. 4 primary, which one official described as a “perfect storm” of challenges. The board is charged with certifying election results.

Forty-six percent of all precinct numbers were askew, canvassers were told.

According to state law, precincts cannot be counted where poll books — that is, a list of registered voters in that precinct — are not matched with the ballots.

Data presented to the board said 81 precincts, including 73 absentee voter precincts, were +/- 5 votes “without explanation.”

Monica Palmer, one of the Republican members of the four-person Wayne County Board of Canvassers, told the News procedures were not followed.

“It was so inaccurate that we can’t even attempt to make it right,” she said.

Breitbart News obtained an affidavit from Bob Cushman, who was appointed as a “poll challenger” by the Michigan Republican Party and was present as ballots were being counted at the TCF Center, formerly known as the Cobo Center. Cushman said he stayed on site until 5:10 a.m. after Election Day.

Cushman recounted several counting tables “had opened ballots with no poll book” to check whether the individual was authorized to cast that ballot.

In another instance, he “noticed pages being inserted into several poll books.”

According to Cushman, some workers left early as the day dragged into the night.

Polls closed at 8:00 p.m., but Cushman observed at 12:37 a.m., “The threat was made that the $100 bonus that had been promised earlier (over the public address system) would not be paid.”

Kamala Harris Reportedly Duped Into Accepting Dirt on Trump by Russians Posing as Greta Thunberg

Leaked audio of a phone call reveals that Sen. Kamala Harris reportedly was willing to accept dirt on President Donald Trump by infamous Russian pranksters Alexei Stolyarov and Vladimir Kuznetsov.

The phone call was leaked to The U.S. Sun. The pranking duo, who go by the names “Vovan” and “Lexus,” posed as climate activist Greta Thunberg and her father, Svante Thunberg, and talked to Harris about Trump and the environment.

The call reportedly took place soon after Harris dropped out of the Democratic presidential primary race in December and begins with an enthusiastic “hello” to a caller she thought was the teenaged Thunberg.

“Hello Greta, congratulations on all of your leadership, I am so inspired by your courage and your voice,” Harris says.

The recording is below. The Sun did not identify who actually voiced the “Greta” and “Svante” roles.

The pranksters then ask if there is anything “she” could do to support Harris’ campaign.

The senator says she would like Greta to talk about her climate plan and said that any support would be great. “Greta” mentions how she has tried to speak to other politicians but hasn’t had any luck.

Harris then offers some advice: “There are forces working against our movement and we have to fight for these things. This is that moment, and you have been a great warrior in this case.”

“Greta” brings up Trump and says, “I’m terrified of what Trump is doing. I can’t sleep or eat when I see him on TV. That terrible meeting in the UN building in September, I have nightmares. I saw him in the corridor and shouted to him to sign the Paris climate agreement. He came over and he said softly to me, "...

Portland BLM supporters spent their Sunday chanting slogans and offering an education in racial injustice through a bullhorn - fueled after 88 days of political unrest by a police shooting in Wisconsin earlier in the day that left a black man in the hospital, and a police officer knocked out with a brick in the ensuing protests.

To review, Portland erupted in violence Saturday when left-wing and right-wing protesters clashed - after which BLM supporters walked through suburban neighborhoods to demand homeowners offer them "refuge" and shame them for owning homes. Others staged a mock execution with a fake guillotine, flung poo, and burned American flags.

On Sunday the movement didn't skip a beat - marching down the street chanting "Black Power" to the 73% Democrat-voting Portlandians who would likely vote for any BLM demand that made its way onto a ballot without intimidation (and still will, we're guessing).

As day turned to night, more than one protest cadence made clear that arson - particularly directed at the police, is the consequence for unmet demands.

Portland protesters also participated in national outrage over the Sunday shooting of Jacob Blake, a black man who was put in the hospital after police in Kenosha, Wisconsin shot him as he was entering his car.
