California Burns From Democrat Forest Mismanagement...

Nine months before Big Basin Redwood State Park suffered its worst fire in recorded history, one of the park’s environmental scientists gave a podcast interview revealing that a prescribed burn had not taken place within the park in three years.

“Does that raise your anxiety at all about the potential for something catastrophic?” asks Peter Jordan, a docent who created the podcast “What the Docents Know” to give the public a deeper understanding of Big Basin.

Sixteen uncomfortable seconds pass — an eternity in radio — during which the scientist, Portia Halbert, can be heard sighing and swallowing (jump to 21:00 of episode 3 to listen). According to Jordan, who was with Halbert in her office, she was in tears.

She finally composes herself and says she’s thinking about Paradise, the city that burned to the ground during the Camp Fire in 2018. “Given the right conditions, we’re poised to have catastrophic wildfires all over California,” says Halbert, who works for the Santa Cruz District of the California State Park System. “So what’s my anxiety level like? I think we’ve been really lucky to avoid something very extreme here in the Santa Cruz Mountains.”

Halbert goes on to say that Big Basin's geographic location, fog and cool summers had seemingly insulated it for a while. But during the 100-plus years the park hadn't seen fire, flammable vegetation had built up, and new trees had grown between other trees, she said. In certain wind conditions, those trees could act as "ladder fuels" that would ignite the canopy.

"I don't know that just the last three years of us not burning really has built my anxiety level," she said. "But witnessing what's happened in California with these wildfires has definitely made me feel, say, more empowered to try and get burns accomplished to sort of prevent that possibility for this area."

The fact that prescribed burns have not taken place in Big Basin for years is a surprise even to people who work for the park and partner organizations.

After the CZU August Lightning Complex fires engulfed the park’s 18,000 acres, destroying its headquarters, main lodge, ranger station and other historic structures, the Sempervirens Fund — a nonprofit organization that helped create the park in 1902 — issued a statement about the fire, including a reference to prescribed burning.

“Big Basin, in particular, has benefited from the longest, continuous program of prescribed burning anywhere in the state since the purposeful burning done by indigenous people who tended this landscape for thousands of years,” the fund’s website states.

Elizabeth Hammack, Big Basin’s manager of interpretation and education, said it wasn’t her...

SENIOR U.S. INTELLIGENCE OFFICIAL INEXPLICABLY DIED BY SUICIDE IN JUNE

ONE OF THE nation’s highest-ranking intelligence officials died by suicide at his home in the Washington, D.C., area in June, but the U.S. intelligence community has remained publicly silent about the incident even as the Central Intelligence Agency has conducted a secret investigation of his death.

Anthony Schinella, 52, the National Intelligence Officer for Military Issues, shot himself on June 14 in the front yard of his Arlington home. A Virginia medical examiner’s report lists Schinella’s cause of death as suicide from a gunshot wound to the head. His wife, who had just married him weeks earlier, told The Intercept that she was in her car in the driveway, trying to get away from Schinella when she witnessed his suicide. At the time of his suicide, Schinella was weeks away from retirement.

Soon after his death, an FBI liaison to the CIA entered Schinella’s house and removed his passports, his secure phone, and searched through his belongings, according to his wife, Sara Corcoran, a Washington journalist. A CIA spokesperson declined to comment for this story.

As NIO for Military Issues, Schinella was the highest-ranking military affairs analyst in the U.S. intelligence community, and was also a member of the powerful National Intelligence Council, which is responsible for producing the intelligence community’s most important analytical reports that go to the president and other top policymakers.

The National Intelligence Council is now under the control of...

Yaser Said, Muslim Who Killed His Teen Daughters in Honor Killing in 2008, Caught in North Texas

For twelve years, Yaser Said has been on the run after his horrific murders of his daughters on January 1, 2008. He did it because they had non-Muslim boyfriends, which as far as Yaser was concerned, brought dishonor upon the family. Murder didn’t dishonor the family, but Muslim girls with non-Muslim boys did. This is the reality of honor killing, while the enemedia condemns those who speak out against it as “Islamophobic.”

“Yaser Said, Taxi Driver Accused of Killing His Teen Daughters in 2008, Caught in North Texas,” by Frank Heinz, NBCDFW, August 26, 2020:
…Yaser Abdel Said, a Lewisville cab driver wanted in connection with brutal slayings of his two teenage daughters, is in custody in North Texas after 12 years on the run.

According to the FBI, Said, who was considered armed and dangerous and known to carry a weapon while driving his cab, was apprehended Wednesday in Justin without incident by agents from the FBI’s Dallas Field Office.

The FBI said Said is currently in federal custody and will soon be transferred to Dallas County. According to the FBI, a $100,000 reward was being offered for his capture. It’s not clear how agents knew where to find Said or if someone was eligible to claim the reward.

Said had been on the run since 2008 after police said he took his daughters, 18-year-old Amina and 17-year-old Sarah, to get something to eat on New Year’s Day. He put the girls in his taxicab and left their home in Lewisville for Irving where he allegedly shot them both as they...

Assailant Shot by Kyle Rittenhouse Was A Registered Sex Offender For Sex Crime Involving A Minor

The Only Good Pedophile...

The first assailant who was filmed chasing Kyle Rittenhouse down in Kenosha on Tuesday night and throwing an object at him before charging him like a raging bull and getting shot is a registered sex offender for a sex crime involving a minor.

All three assailants filmed attacking Rittenhouse have criminal records.

The Chicago-Sun Times on Wednesday confirmed the man in the videos seen charging Rittenhouse and getting shot in the head and killed was 36-year-old Joseph "Jojo" Rosenbaum.

They failed to mention he is a registered sex offender.

The second assailant seen bashing Rittenhouse with a skateboard while he was on the ground before getting shot has a lengthy record which includes charges of domestic abuse, battery, use of a dangerous weapon and false imprisonment.

Gaige Grosskreutz's mask had a Satanic pentagram from the Church of Satan known as the "Sigil of Baphomet" on it.

On the other hand, Kyle Rittenhouse is known to be a lover of police and was photographed cleaning up Black Lives Matter graffiti off a high school in Kenosha earlier in the day before he was attacked:

Riots erupt in Minneapolis after death of black man, then police release video of murder suspect shooting himself

Minneapolis, Minnesota, the home of the original George Floyd riots, erupted into chaos again Wednesday after a black suspect accused of killing another human being died by suicide in front of several people moments before the cops could catch him.

The drama unfolded after a dispute between two men and one woman reportedly turned physical and one of the men opened fire, killing the other man. The shooter and the woman then fled. The woman was apprehended a short time later.

“Later, at about 6 p.m., the male suspect was located on foot on Nicollet Mall between 8th Street and 9th Street. As officers approached the suspect, the suspect produced a handgun and took his own life,” local station KSTP reported.

In response to the suspect’s suicide, which was seen by multiple people and even captured on camera, rumors began to emerge on social media that the man had been killed by the police. This in turn provoked another round of looting and rioting.

A large number of local businesses sustained damage from the riots, including IDS Center, Nordstrom Rack, Foot Locker, Haskell’s Wine and Spirits, Brit’s Pub, The Newsroom, Devil’s Advocate, Walgreens, CVS, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Dahl Medical Supply, and...
