Alarms are being raised over the growing power of social media giants to censor free speech on their platforms. One America’s Hans Hubbard reports.

Jake Angeli – recently charged with “violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds” by the Department of Justice – has previously participated in climate change protests despite the mainstream media depicting him as a fervent Trump supporter.
AZCentral described Angeli as one of “hundreds march[ing] in Arizona in solidarity with climate strikes around the world” in September of 2019. The article’s collection of pictures contains a total of three actions shots of Angeli protesting the issue captured by two separate photographers.

Unbank The Right: Deutsche Bank Cuts Ties with President Trump:
Deutsche Bank AG has reportedly decided to cut ties with President Donald Trump as well as his private companies following the unrest at Capitol Hill last week.
The German lender has been joined by the New York-based Signature Bank, which also announced that it would be ending its business relationship with the President.
Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday that two insiders within Deutsche Bank — who remained anonymous ostensibly due to banking regulations — confirmed that the German banking giant would no longer conduct any further business with President Trump or his company.
There will still be some relationship between the bank and the President, however, as he reportedly owes Deutsche Bank some $340 million in outstanding loans. The bank has served as a lender for President Trump since the 1990s and has lent some $2 billion during their business relationship.
The day after the events at the Capitol, the head of Deutsche Bank Americas, Christiana Riley wrote on LinkedIn: “Yesterday was a dark day for America and our democracy.”
“We are proud of our Constitution and stand by those who seek to uphold it to ensure that the will of the people is upheld and a peaceful transition of power takes place,” she added.
Ahead of the presidential election, Reuters reported that the bank was “eager” to sever ties with the president, after being caught up in the Russia collusion narrative for years and being forced to testify in congressional hearings during the probe.
Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren — who serves on the Senate’s banking committee — said in November that she planned on continuing investigating the bank into the upcoming administration.
“You bet I’m going to continue to fight for accountability and strong enforcement of our banking laws, especially for giant institutions like Deutsche Bank,” she said.

WASHINGTON, DC. Curiously, the Mayor of Washington DC explicitly rejected federal help before the Trump rally.
Similarly, Capitol Police chief Steven Sund had been told by his superiors to not call for timely backup by the National Guard.
In an interview with The Washington Post, Sund confirmed that he had asked House and Senate security officials for permission to request that the DC National Guard be placed on standby for the event in case backup was needed, but he said he had been turned down. According to Sund, his superiors had been uncomfortable with the “optics” of formally declaring an emergency ahead of Wednesday’s demonstration.
His superiors however do not have any problem with the current “optics” of an insurrection.
“If we would have had the National Guard we could have held them at bay longer, until more officers from our partner agencies could arrive,” he told the Post.
There was also a diversion of police forces with a pipe bomb placed near the Republican National Committee headquarters. This well-timed incident delayed the arrival of more police forces at the Capitol.

They’re coming after guns now
Merely discussing gun rights and firearms has become a crime in the eyes of Big Tech.
AR15.com, one of the most popular websites for firearms enthusiasts in America and around the world, was deplatformed by GoDaddy on Monday morning.
The gun site contains advertisements and promotions from firearms company, gun craftsmanship and building content. A backup for ar-15.com was furbished later Monday.
Second Amendment supporters were quick to offer hosting services to AR-15.com, and the site’s operators expect its primary domain to be fully operational within days. GoDaddy has distinguished itself for progressive deplatforming operations before.
Big League Politics has reached out to GoDaddy for comment, and was ignored. Internet users who utilize the web hosting service to publish content that isn’t sterile, liberal corporate drivel should strongly consider migrating their content elsewhere.
The site’s operators had received record-setting levels of traffic following certification of Biden’s victory, with many Americans inclined to acquire firearms and ammunition under the Democrat’s reign.

Salesforce blocks the Republican National Committee (RNC) from sending out fundraising emails
The San Francisco-based tech company Salesforce has confirmed that one of its subsidiaries has blocked the Republican National Committee from sending out fundraising emails, citing the January 6 events at the US Capitol.
“We are all deeply troubled by the terrible events of January 6. And while we all hope that they are never repeated, sadly there remains a risk of politically incited violence across the country,” Salesforce said in a statement.
“The Republican National Committee has been a long-standing customer, predating the current Administration, and we have taken action to prevent its use of our services in any way that could lead to violence,” the company added.
The statement was sent to Vice, which asked around after noticing that emails from President Donald Trump’s campaign had suddenly stopped. It wasn’t clear whether the “action” was permanent or if the service would be restored at a later date.
Reached by Vice, the RNC said that they “decided independently to stop fundraising on all of our digital platforms, including on Salesforce,” last Wednesday.
The Trump Make America Great Again Committee is a joint venture between the RNC and organizations called Save America and Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. It was using services by ExactTarget, an email marketing company owned by Salesforce. Another provider, Campaign Monitor, also “suspended” their account last week, after the unrest at the US Capitol.
Several hundred Trump supporters had broken into the Capitol building on and disrupted the joint session of Congress meeting to certify Democrat Joe Biden as the next US president. Democrats quickly described the unrest as a terrorist attack, accused Trump of “inciting insurrection” and even demanded his second impeachment.
However, a number of Republican lawmakers and party officials have joined them in denouncing the president. Nor has the party protested when Facebook and Twitter suspended and then banned Trump outright. The wave of corporate and social media “cancellations” has only grown...
