NRCC Chair: Pelosi ‘Trying to Subvert Democracy’ by Overturning Certified House Election

Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN), chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), told SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Sunday House Democrats led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) are “trying to subvert democracy” and “disenfranchise the Iowa voters” by attempting to “overturn certified election results” in Iowa.

Recently, the House Administration Committee, chaired by Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), has been working on a push to overturn Iowa’s state-certified Second Congressional District election. Rita Hart claims 22 legal votes should be counted but were wrongfully tossed out. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA) officially won the election by six votes.

Emmer told host Matthew Boyle, “Nancy Pelosi and her radical left socialist Democrat majority are literally trying to subvert democracy and overturn certified election results, and they are going to deny any Iowa voter. Frankly, they’re going to disenfranchise the Iowa voters who have already decided this thing.”

He went on, “As we go forward, Matt, I can guarantee you we at the National Republican Congressional Committee will make sure that the voters hold them accountable for this partisan power grab in November of ’22 if, in fact, they do it. That will be the issue.”

Boyle pointed out that multiple Democrat members have already voiced their opinions about overturning an election that has been certified over the recent weeks.

Boyle also pointed out that Breitbart News has reached out to Rep. Cindy Axne’s (D-IA) office for a statement on the partisan politics since Axne is Iowa’s last remaining Democrat member of Congress. “She’s issued the same statement over and over and over again since December. I think Cindy Axne — it’s incumbent on her that she needs to say what she thinks about what’s happing in her own state,” Boyle added.

“Matt, I think she has said it. I think she’s said loud and clear to the voters in Iowa that she thinks Nancy Pelosi and the radical socialist agenda she’s pushing is more important to her than the voters in Iowa. I mean, she’s been completely silent on this throughout this process,” Emmer stated.

Emergency Services Come Under Mortar Fire In Lyon France As Immigrant Violence Spirals Out Of Control...

A bus and cars were set on fire, and a CCTV camera damaged. New violence broke out on March 27 in the immigrant district of Lyon. For the mayor of Rillieux-la-Pape, "these unjustifiable acts are the work of a mafia gang which sees its ground receding every day".

The new episode of urban violence was denounced by the mayor of Rillieux-la-Pape. According to a spokesperson for public transport in the agglomeration, the bus was parked around 8:30 pm at the terminus of a line when its driver saw around twenty hooded people carrying cans.

He tried to leave the terminus to save the vehicle, but “youths” lined up in front of the bus, while others ordered him to get out, before setting the vehicle on fire.

The driver was not physically assaulted, according to the spokesperson. Another driver of a line passing through the neighbourhood however sounded the alert and saved his colleague who had been taken hostage.

Homer Talley, the father of Boulder Police officer Eric Talley, who was the first law enforcement officer to arrive on the scene, told TMZ his late son owned an AR-15 he used for target practice.

“My son would have been deeply offended to know his death would be used to promote gun control. Before he was an officer, he enjoyed shooting,” Talley told TMZ.

Talley added that the situation his son was in wasn’t one that “the government could protect him from.” While he’s in favor of common sense gun laws, he and his son were against taking away the freedom Americans have to purchase firearms, he said.

DHS chief Alejandro Mayorkas on Sunday stressed that the border is closed, even though unaccompanied minors are being admitted, and didn’t provide any new timeline for opening facilities to accommodate the surge.

Former president Donald Trump trashed the performance in a statement from the Office of the Former President, saying “Even someone of Mayorkas’ limited abilities should understand that if you provide Catch-and-Release to the world’s illegal aliens then the whole world will come.”

The Biden White House is reportedly considering a scheme to fly migrants to northern states for processing due to overwhelmed capacities at the southern border.

Are Illegal Aliens Receiving COVID-19 Relief Checks? Yes

Millions of immigrants known to be in the U.S. illegally are nonetheless issued Social Security numbers — and given money.

During the debate over the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Senator Dick Durbin (D., Ill.) claimed that “undocumented immigrants do not have Social Security numbers, and they do not qualify for stimulus relief checks, period.” He was wrong on both counts.

Millions of illegal immigrants do have Social Security numbers (SSNs), and they will receive billions of dollars in stimulus money. But leave the money aside for now and consider the more basic problem: The U.S. government has chosen to issue SSNs to millions of people who are not even supposed to be in the country. It’s a clear indication that America is simply not serious about enforcing its immigration laws.

To be clear, the illegal immigrants given work authorization are not guest workers; they are not green-card holders (permanent immigrants); they are not tourists. They are illegal aliens who, under the current system, are still given work authorization and Social Security numbers, year after year after year. This allows them to receive cash payments such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), the Additional Child Tax Credit, and COVID-19 relief checks. If none of this makes sense to you, then you are at least beginning to understand how our immigration system works.

So who are the illegal aliens who have Social Security numbers? They fall into a number of different categories outlined in a new Center for Immigration Studies report. They include about 650,000 recipients of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and about 400,000 with Temporary Protected Status (TPS). DACA is the administrative amnesty President Obama created for adult illegal immigrants who arrived as minors. TPS is supposed to be a short-term program for people who cannot return (or be returned) to their home countries temporarily because of a natural disaster or civil strife. But, like much else in our immigration system, TPS has been so abused by immigration advocates, immigration lawyers, and successive administrations that the vast majority of people covered by the program have been here for at least a decade, and many have been in the program for two decades.

In addition to DACA and TPS, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued some 880,000 work permits to other illegal immigrants. Among the eligible categories are adjustment-of-status applicants, suspension of deportation, asylum, and applicants, as well as those given withholding of removal or deferred action (non-DACA) and parolees.
