World’s Largest Meat Supplier Crippled by Cyberattack

A major cyberattack has reportedly crippled the world’s largest meat processing company, JBS. The company reports an “organized cybersecurity attack” has severely hampered its operations in the U.S. and Australia.

NBC News reports that thousands of meat workers in Australia are out of work for a second day this week after a cyberattack has crippled the largest meat supplier in the world, JBS. The company is also Australia’s largest meat and food processing company with 47 facilities across the country including abattoirs, feedlots, and meat processing sites. JBS employs around 1,100 people.

JBS USA said in a statement from Greeley, Colorado, on Monday that it was the target of an “organized cybersecurity attack,” affecting some of its servers supporting its North American and Australian IT systems.

The statement said: “The company’s backup servers were not affected and it is actively working with an Incident Response firm to restore its systems as soon as possible.” Australian Agriculture Minister David Littleroud said that the government and Australian Federal Police were working with JBS to resolve the issue and track down those responsible.

Littleproud stated: “Despite the fact that JBS accounts for around 20 percent of our processing production here in Australia, we’re not expecting there to be significant impacts on exports so long as this isn’t a protracted shutdown…We’re also working with JBS right here in Australia to make sure that we can get some limited capacity up and going in the next couple of days. JBS have been very proactive in that.”

Littleproud stated that it was too early to determine whether it was a ransomware attack or who might be responsible for the hack. Australian staff at JSB learned of the hack when they were turned away from...

BLM activist steps down from school board; accused of molesting over 60 immigrant children

Tay Anderson, a noted Black Lives Matter activist and former Denver school board member, was forced to step down from his position after it was made public that he was being investigated for allegedly molesting a large number of students.

Denver Public Schools confirmed that they knew about the allegations and that the Denver Police Department is also privy to the information.

This came after Mary-Katherine Brooks Fleming, mother to three children, testified before the House Judiciary Committee that there was “a sexual predator targeting DPS children” during a hearing on legislation that would make it easier to sue businesses that hired child sexual abusers.

Anderson issued a statement on Twitter which made it clear that he was not admitting to the crimes, but was simply putting space between himself and the school board for the time being.

Apparently this isn’t Anderson’s first rodeo with these types of heinous allegations.

He was already being investigated for an alleged sexual assault on a student from April. His lawyer, Christopher Decker, fervently denied the accusations against his client, saying false claims of sexual assault “cheapen and diminish...

Report: Iran has uranium stockpile 16x over Obama/Biden nuclear deal limit and won’t let anyone inspect it

Iran’s uranium stockpile is nearly 16 times over the limit set by the Obama-Biden era Iran nuclear deal an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) report revealed Monday, according to Reuters.

The Middle Eastern nation reportedly has 3,241 kg of enriched uranium, according to an estimate by IAEA; however, the United Nations watchdog was unable to verify the exact amount due to Iran’s lack of cooperation. The limit set by the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, more commonly known as the Iran nuclear deal, is just 202.8 kg.

Reuters reported that traces of uranium were detected at multiple undeclared locations, noting that the atomic watchdog has not been given access to Iran’s nuclear data since February.

“After many months, Iran has not provided the necessary explanation for the presence of the nuclear material particles at any of the three locations where the Agency has conducted complementary accesses (inspections),” IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said in a report viewed by Reuters.

According to the report, the agency is concerned that communication with Iran has not “yielded the expected results.”

“The lack of progress in clarifying the Agency’s questions concerning the correctness and completeness of Iran’s safeguards declarations seriously affects the ability of the Agency to provide assurance of...
