Washington Post Reporter Pushes False Info About Gov. Ron DeSantis’s Response To Surfside Collapse
Washington Post reporter Hannah Dreier published a series of misleading tweets over the weekend accusing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis of fumbling the state’s response to the recent building collapse in the town of Surfside.
On Saturday, Dreier posted a screenshot of FEMA’s response to the recent building collapse, claiming that it took DeSantis a full 24 hours to approve any form of emergency assistance for the affected area.
“There’s a saying in emergency management: The first 24 hours are the only 24 hours,” Dreier stated. “FEMA was ready to deploy to the condo collapse almost immediately, and included the crisis in its daily briefing, but didn’t get permission from Gov. DeSantis to get on the ground for a full day.”

The 24-year-old Somali, who stabbed three women to death in Würzburg on June 25 and injured six others, some seriously, had kept material from the Islamic State (ISIS) in his home.
This was initially reported by German magazine Focus, but soon afterwards the information was put into a politically correct perspective: “Whether the hate messages found were ISIS material cannot yet be confirmed, and neither can a connection between the material and the crime.”

The hopes of some political and media actors that the crime could be dismissed as a madman’s rampage have however been crushed under the weight of these facts.
The Chancellor, Angela Merkel, reacted to the terrible bloodshed in Würzburg by keeping silent: No on-site visit, no expression of sympathy for the female victims, no compassion and not even a hypocritical show of support. Her refusal to take responsibility has been shameful and unworthy of a head of government.
The chairman of the AfD parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, Alexander Gauland, responded to the fatal knife attack in Würzburg by the rejected asylum seeker: “After the terrible knife attack in Würzburg, which shook us all, it is not enough to mourn the victims and then go back to business. We have to name those who are politically responsible for this act and finally draw the conclusions. To be very clear: these three people could still live without Merkel’s irresponsible policy of open borders. Biden Signs Executive Order that Mandates Race Training at Every Level and Lectures on ‘White Privilege’ and ‘Male Privilege’
President Joe Biden signed an executive order on Friday that ensures that every part of the federal government will conduct race-conscious diversity training and engage in race-conscious hiring.
The executive order “establishes an ambitious, whole-of-government initiative that will take a systematic approach to embedding DEIA [diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility] in Federal hiring and employment practices,” according to a White House fact sheet. In practice, it will ensure that federal agencies employ tenets associated with Critical Race Theory (CRT) within their hiring practices and day-to-day activities.
CRT holds that America is fundamentally racist, yet it teaches people to view every social interaction and person in terms of race. Its adherents pursue “antiracism” through the end of merit, objective truth and the adoption of race-based policies.
The executive order directs federal agencies to “develop strategic plans to eliminate any barriers to success faced by under-served employees.” This will be felt through federal hiring, which will prioritize “communities that have historically faced employment discrimination and professional barriers, including people of color, women, first-generation professionals and immigrants, individuals with disabilities, [and] LGBTQ+ individuals.”
Other designated groups to be prioritized in hiring include “Americans who live in rural areas, older Americans who face age discrimination when seeking employment, parents and caregivers who face employment barriers, people of faith who require religious accommodations at work, individuals who were formerly incarcerated, and...
