Vaccine And Mask Coercion Is A Purge Of Republican Voters, And Republicans Are Letting It Happen

Republicans are still by and large allowing their own voters to be purged from employment and schooling based on their evidence-informed convictions that oppose reality-defying leftist groupthink.

Myriad Republican lawmakers are standing idly by, letting their voters be threatened with not being able to support their families or access education due to their medical and political beliefs about the just response to COVID.

After a lull in the push to implement vaccine mandates and vaccine passports this spring — conveniently when the majority of state legislatures are in session and therefore could be more responsive to voter concerns — the issue is back with a vengeance.

Both private and public institutions are reinstituting counterproductive and ineffective COVID responses like masks due to another round of media-ginned fear about variants that are less dangerous than the original. Vaccine passports, mandates, and pressure are therefore surging again, with “learning” institutions that are really social conformity systems pushing experimental genetically based therapies, social restrictions, and face coverings, even on children who are at less risk from COVID and Delta than they are from the seasonal flu.

The COVID Threat Isn’t What People Are Being Told

As with the initial COVID outbreak, the mounting hysteria and pressure are far out of proportion to reality. Now, the vast majority of high-risk people have accepted experimental protections against COVID, death rates are low, we know of effective therapeutics for hard cases, and there is plenty of hospital capacity. Daily COVID deaths are now one-fourth the average daily deaths from heart disease and one-third the average daily deaths from cancer.

We have been promised “back to normal” for more than a year, and what we are instead getting is more of the same use of that promise to force us into harmful behaviors and social re-engineerings. Republicans are largely out to lunch on this, or worse, helping.

Half of Americans have by now taken the full course of COVID-19 therapy shots. For those who weren’t manipulated into this decision, that is...

What Intoxicating Vanity

-Michael Crichton Quotes

“You think man can destroy the planet? What intoxicating vanity. Let me tell you about our planet. Earth is four-and-a-half-billion-years-old. There's been life on it for nearly that long, 3.8 billion years. Bacteria first; later the first multicellular life, then the first complex creatures in the sea, on the land. Then finally the great sweeping ages of animals, the amphibians, the dinosaurs, at last the mammals, each one enduring millions on millions of years, great dynasties of creatures rising, flourishing, dying away -- all this against a background of continuous and violent upheaval. Mountain ranges thrust up, eroded away, cometary impacts, volcano eruptions, oceans rising and falling, whole continents moving, an endless, constant, violent change, colliding, buckling to make mountains over millions of years. Earth has survived everything in its time. It will certainly survive us. If all the nuclear weapons in the world went off at once and all the plants, all the animals died and the earth was sizzling hot for a hundred thousand years, life would survive, somewhere: under the soil, frozen in Arctic ice. Sooner or later, when the planet was no longer inhospitable, life would spread again. The evolutionary process would begin again. It might take a few billion years for life to regain its present variety. Of course, it would be very different from what it is now, but the earth would survive our folly, only we would not. If the ozone layer gets thinner, ultraviolet radiation sears the earth, so what? Ultraviolet radiation is good for life. It's powerful energy. It promotes mutation, change. Many forms of life will thrive with more UV radiation. Many others will die out. Do you think this is the first time that's happened? Think about oxygen. Necessary for life now, but oxygen is actually a metabolic poison, a corrosive glass, like fluorine. When oxygen was first produced as a waste product by certain plant cells some three billion years ago, it created a crisis for all other life on earth. Those plants were polluting the environment, exhaling a lethal gas. Earth eventually had an atmosphere incompatible with life. Nevertheless, life on earth took care of itself. In the thinking of the human being a hundred years is a long time. A hundred years ago we didn't have cars, airplanes, computers or vaccines. It was a whole different world, but to the earth, a hundred years is nothing. A million years is nothing. This planet lives and breathes on a much vaster scale. We can't imagine its slow and powerful rhythms, and we haven't got the humility to try. We've been residents here for the blink of an eye. If we're gone tomorrow, the earth will not miss us.”

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker Protects Illegal Alien Labor by Punishing Businesses Who Refuses to Hire Illegals with Work Permits

Earlier this week, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed HB 121 into law, which will make an employer’s decision to not hire illegal aliens with work permits a civil rights violation.

John Binder of Breitbart News explained what this law entails:

The law is specifically designed to prevent employers from not hiring illegal aliens who are enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) but also will encompass border crossers who are released into the United States interior and able to secure work permits via the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

“Throughout my governorship, I’ve directed my administration to adopt policies that make Illinois a welcoming state for immigrants, and I’m proud to sign these accountability measures into law to advance our cause,” Pritzker declared in a statement he released.

Binder published a summary of the law:
Amends the Illinois Human Rights Act. Provides that it is the public policy of the State to prevent discrimination based on the specific status or term of status that accompanies a legal work authorization. Defines “work authorization status” as the status of being a person born outside of the United States, and not a U.S. citizen, who is authorized by the federal government to work in the United States. Provides that it is a civil rights violation for: (1) any employer to refuse to hire, to segregate, to engage in harassment, or to act with respect to recruitment, hiring, promotion, renewal of employment, selection for training or apprenticeship, discharge, discipline, tenure or terms, privileges or conditions of employment on the basis of work authorization status; (2) any employment agency to fail or refuse to classify properly, accept applications and register for employment referral or apprenticeship referral, refer for employment, or refer for apprenticeship on the basis of work authorization status; (3) any labor organization to limit, segregate, or classify its membership, or to limit employment opportunities, selection and training for apprenticeship in any trade or craft, or otherwise to take or fail to take, any action which affects adversely any person’s status as an employee or as an applicant for employment or as an apprentice, or as an applicant for apprenticeships, or wages, tenure, hours of employment, or apprenticeship conditions on the basis of work authorization status; and (4) any employer to refuse to honor work authorization based upon the specific status or term of status that accompanies the authorization to work. Provides that it is a civil rights violation for a person, or for 2 or more persons, to conspire to retaliate against a person because he or she has opposed that which he or she reasonably and in good faith believes to be discrimination based on work authorization status. Makes conforming changes. Effective immediately.
In addition, Pritzker signed two other bills into law — the Illinois Trust Act and the VOICES Act — that will ban state and local governments from entering into law enforcement contracts with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency that assist in the arrest and deportation of criminal...

New Study Shows Mask Mandates Had Zero Effect in Florida or Nationwide, But the Lie Continues

Videos: Armed Antifa Hunt Down Attendees of Christian Event in Portland

Evangelicals targeted by extremists following music event.

Numerous videos out of Portland show chaos on the streets after Antifa members armed with projectiles tried to hunt down attendees of an Evangelical Christian music event.

After assaulting attendees of the festival the previous day, Antifa members complained that they were outnumbered given the sheer size of the crowd at the Christian event.

However, as soon as night fell and the larger crowd dispersed, Antifa sought to pick off attendees one by one as they chased them on the streets and attacked them with missiles and pepper spray.

“Go hit that car! Hit that car!” one individual shouts as the mob chase down the Christians:

Biden’s Six Months In Office Have Us On The Road To Communism

Capitalism, with all its warts and pimples, is the way people organize themselves of their own volition. It is economic freedom. Socialism and its children – communism and fascism -- can only be foisted on a population through tyrannical coercion and brute force. Dean Koontz, in Icebound, summed up communism, writing,
This was senseless, pointless lunacy…but nothing the communists had ever done made sense, not anywhere in the world.…Their ideology was nothing but a mad hunger for unrestrained power, politics as a cult religion divorced from morality and reason and their bloody rampages and bottomless cruelty could never be analyzed or understood by anyone not of their mad persuasion.
We’re not there yet but, as our friends from Venezuela have tried to warn us, we’re well on our way and following closely in their footsteps. We’re now immersed in “senseless, pointless, lunacy,” while our politicians dabble in “a mad hunger for unrestrained power.”

America’s southern border is open. According to the US Customs and Border Patrol, close to 190,000 people crossed into the United States in June alone, and that number has been accelerating in the six months since the Biden administration reversed all the Trump-era policies and refused to enforce existing immigration law.

At this rate, it’s not inconceivable that we’ll have absorbed another 30 million illegal immigrants, or about 10 percent of the current U.S. population if Joe Biden serves two terms. That is an invasion. The US military should be lined up virtually shoulder to shoulder along the entire length of the southern border.

But then who would vote for Democrats? The only immigrants crossing into this country from the south who would not eventually vote for Democrats in large numbers are Cuban refugees. They are also, by and large, the only group with legitimate asylum claims -- and they are the only group Biden’s government is turning away. Their fate is something you probably don’t want to think about, but it serves the purposes of the Biden administration, whose goal is to import as many future Democrat voters as humanly possible.

The Canadian border is now closed due to COVID but illegal immigrants streaming across our southern border with their ten percent covid infection rate are being transported at taxpayer expense into the U.S. interior. If this doesn’t qualify as senseless, pointless, lunacy, I don’t know what would.

The people pulling the strings on this insanity may well be communists, but they’re often dressed up as something else. Once they’ve wrecked the Constitution and the middle class, then immigration will certainly dry up. If it’s bad enough, a mass exodus will begin and that is when the left will take off the masks and finish Trump’s border wall.

Where are the Republicans? I know they didn’t sign up for this. “Congressman” is supposed to be a pretty cushy gig. An upper-class salary for life, the best healthcare the country has to offer, and their own police force with a budget now over half a billion dollars a year to protect a few hundred people. Is anyone trying to defund the capital police budget? On the contrary...

18 Senate Republicans Put So-Called Infrastructure Bill on Glide Path to Passing

Eighteen Senate Republicans voted Sunday to clear the final hurdle before a floor vote to advance the so-called “bipartisan” infrastructure bill.

The Senate 68-29 voted to invoke cloture on the bipartisan infrastructure bill, otherwise known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

The vote means the Senate could take up the bill perhaps by early Tuesday morning, meaning they could pass the mammoth, 2,702-page, $1.2 trillion legislation in the dead of night.

Eighteen Senate Republicans voted to advance the bill Sunday, potentially clearing the significant hurdle of passing the bill through the Senate.

The 18 Senate Republicans who voted to advance the so-called infrastructure reportedly include:

Roy Blunt (R-MO)
Richard Burr (R-NC)
Bill Cassidy (R-LA)
Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV)
Susan Collins (R-ME)
Kevin Cramer (R-ND)
John Hoeven (R-ND)
Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Rob Portman (R-OH)
Jim Risch (R-ID)
Mitt Romney (R-UT)
Thom Tillis (R-NC)
Deb Fischer (R-NE)
John Cornyn (R-TX)
Roger Wicker (R-MS)
Dan Sullivan (R-AK)
Mike Crapo (R-ID)

Wicker, who previously voted against advancing the legislation, voted in favor of invoking cloture Sunday.

“The bill we’re now debating is far from perfect. If I were the only one with a pen, I would have made many changes. But at the end of the day, I believe this package will do a great service for the United States of America and a great service to my home state of Mississippi,” Wicker said on the Senate floor Sunday.

Young, who previously voted to advance the infrastructure bill, came out against the legislation Sunday. He is up for reelection during the 2022 midterm elections. Young said in a statement Sunday:
For the last several months, I’ve been working diligently with my colleagues toward a bipartisan infrastructure bill to provide crucial funding for our crumbling roads and bridges and to make targeted investments that yield positive long-term results in areas like...
