Leftists Betray America: Submarine Spy Couple Radicalized by Anti-Trump #Resistance

Spies Should Be Hung.

'Strong feminist and very liberal' teacher threatened to move to Australia after 2016 election, New York Times reports

The Annapolis couple charged with attempting to sell closely guarded secrets about U.S. nuclear submarines to a foreign power appears to have been radicalized by the anti-Trump #Resistance movement, according to a report published in the New York Times.

Jonathan Toebbe, an expert in nuclear physics and submarine propulsion, served in the Navy as an officer before being hired as a civilian consultant. He and his wife Diana, a teacher at a progressive private school, have been charged with violating the Atomic Energy Act's prohibition on sharing nuclear secrets.

The couple was busted by federal agents after delivering a memory card to a dead drop location in south-central Pennsylvania. They had allegedly proposed a payment of $100,000 in cryptocurrency in exchange for providing information to the foreign country, which has yet to be revealed.

The Times report described Ms. Toebbe as a "strong feminist and very liberal" academic who was "taken aback" by former president Donald Trump's election in 2016, and "mentioned several times that she was considering moving to Australia."

Toebbe's radicalization as a member of the anti-Trump #Resistance appears to have been a significant factor in compelling her to betray the United States. "She said she couldn't stand the current state of politics," one of her former students told the Times, which found no evidence that the couple was in financial distress, suggesting an....

Federal Judge Blocks United Airlines From Imposing Employee Vaccine Mandate

A federal judge in Texas issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) against United Airlines on Wednesday, blocking the airline from imposing a vaccine mandate against any of its employees in a nationwide class-action lawsuit.

According to the judicial order, which could be the first of its kind in the country against a coronavirus vaccine mandate, United Airlines is prohibited from placing employees with religious and medical exemptions on unpaid leave until October 26 while litigation continues. The judge also prohibited the airline from denying any employee requests for religious or medical exemptions. Previously, the airline did not allow employees to apply for an exemption after August 31.

Earlier in the case, the airline agreed of its own accord to postpone its vaccine mandate until October 15 for employees with exemptions during litigation. The day before the October 8 hearing, however, United filed a partial motion to dismiss, alleging the court lacked jurisdiction over the claims in the lawsuit. In order to allow the court reasonable time to respond to the jurisdictional challenge and to rule in the evidentiary hearing for a preliminary injunction, which was reset for Wednesday, the judge issued the TRO.

United Airlines originally told its 67,000 U.S. employees they must be vaccinated against Chinese coronavirus (or secure an exemption) by September 27 or face termination. As the airline’s vaccine mandate stands, any employees with exemptions would still be considered employed but would be placed on unpaid leave and would lose their benefits for up to six years or until the airline deems pandemic conditions safe for unvaccinated employees to return, according to the complaint.

“It is unconscionable to force any person to undergo a medical treatment that they object to as a matter of faith,” said Ken Blackwell, formerly the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Commission and currently with the American Constitutional Rights Union. “When so many other nations recognize that there is no medical reason for people with natural immunity to take a vaccine, it is essential that America lead the way to protect our...

Georgia election workers fired, accused of destroying voting applications...

If one were to apply the old saying of where there’s smoke, there’s fire to Fulton County, Georgia, it’d be understandable that a person might be reaching for a phone right about now to call the fire department because the smoke is billowing in the Peach State.

President Joe Biden won the state of Georgia by less than 12,000 votes, and the most populous county in the state, Fulton County, which includes Atlanta, has fired two election workers for allegedly shredding voting applications in the past two weeks despite a state law requiring officials to preserve elections documents related to primary or general elections for 24 months after the election.

“Preliminary review suggests that employees may have checked out batches of applications for processing. Instead of fully processing them, in some instances the employees allegedly shredded some of the forms. Fellow employees reported this behavior to their supervisor on Friday morning and the employees were terminated the same day,” read a statement released by the county.

Fulton County Commissioners Chairman Robb Pitts immediately reported the incident to the office of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis for investigation.

“Elections are the most important function of our government,” Pitts said in the release. “We have committed to transparency and integrity.”

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said 300 municipal election-related applications were allegedly destroyed and is calling on the Department of Justice to investigate Fulton County elections. His office has already launched an investigation into the allegations.

“After 20 years of documented failure in Fulton County elections, Georgians are tired of waiting to see what the next embarrassing revelation will be,” Raffensperger said in a statement. “The Department of Justice needs to take a long look at what Fulton County is doing and how their leadership disenfranchises Fulton voters through incompetence and malfeasance. The voters of Georgia are...
