‘Delinquent’ BLM forced to halt online donations – Black Lives Matter is reportedly facing concerns about their financial records

The Violent, Marxist, Racist, Hate Group Is Corrupt Too, What??

The Black Lives Matter movement has been forced to suspend its online fundraising efforts after various state attorneys general questioned its financial record-keeping, The Washington Examiner revealed. Prosecutors in California and Washington state have apparently demanded that the group disclose financial statements from 2020.

The news outlet reported that the official BLM website no longer featured a donation button following the move to halt online contributions on Wednesday. The decision was taken days after California reportedly threatened to hold leaders of the “delinquent” movement “personally liable” for the lack of financial transparency.

On Tuesday, The Washington Examiner published a letter from California Attorney General Rob Bonta informing the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF) that it was prohibited from “soliciting or disbursing funds” for non-payment of various fees and failing to submit an annual report for the 2020 tax year.

The letter, dated January 31, gives the group two months to submit the reports and warns that the registered charity risked losing its tax-exempt status if it failed to comply. In this scenario, the movement would be treated as a “taxable corporation.”

The California Department of Justice would not comment on whether it was investigating BLM so as to “protect its integrity,” the outlet reported.

Last month, Washington state reportedly warned the group to “immediately cease” all fundraising activities in the state or face $2,000 fines for each violation. Its charity registration is also apparently out of compliance in the states of...

Canadian Government Mulling Using Military Against Freedom Convoy Protesters

From his secret hiding place, Trudeau worried about confrontation between troops and citizens.

The Canadian government is still mulling over whether to the military against Freedom Convoy protesters, although Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the decision wouldn’t be taken “lightly.”

Thousands of demonstrators arrived in downtown Ottawa last week to protest against vaccine mandates that dictate truckers returning to Canada from the U.S. quarantine once they arrive at home.

With the city still gridlocked, Police Chief Peter Sloly says the numbers could swell again this weekend.

“There may not be a policing solution,” to resolve the impasse, he warned, adding that authorities are “looking at every single option, including military aid.”

That has prompted some to speculate that the Canadian military could be called in to shut down the protest, sparking a potential confrontation that could dangerously escalate.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he had received no formal request to authorize military action, but would “of course, look at any formal requests [the city of Ottawa] sent us.”

“One has to be very, very cautious before deploying the military in situations engaging Canadians,” Trudeau said during a press conference. “It is not something that anyone should enter into lightly.”

Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand said there were “no plans for the Canadian Armed Forces to be involved in the current situation in Ottawa in a law enforcement capacity,” noting that the military is “not a police force.”

Trudeau, who has repeatedly smeared the protesters as racists and extremists, said, “Our preoccupation remains being there for the citizens of Ottawa, the neighborhoods that have been significantly disrupted by...

Beijing-Based ByteDance Knows TikTok Is A Cultural Weapon

When Mark Zuckerberg announced on Wednesday that Facebook lost daily users for the first time in its 18-year history last quarter, he blamed TikTok. And why shouldn’t he? The young platform is both the most downloaded app and most visited website in the world. It’s addicting and profitable, which also makes TikTok a tool of cultural control.

Beijing understands this, which is why the app’s Chinese counterpart Douyin is run much differently by ByteDance. Indeed, the Chinese government recently acquired a 1 percent stake and a seat on the board of one of the Beijing-based company’s domestic subsidiaries.

Andrew Schulz explained this perfectly in a clip he posted to Instagram this week.

“You don’t have to crush an opposing nation to convince them to crush themselves,” Schulz wrote in the caption. If China seeks to undermine the power of the United States, controlling the algorithms that captivate its children isn’t a bad place to start.

If you browse this BuzzFeed roundup of the top trends on TikTok in 2021, you’ll find explicit dances, songs, and gender-bending alongside adorable dogs and easy recipes. In 2020, Seventeen included the “WAP” dance on its roundup of the app’s most popular trends, meaning millions of American kids were watching and making video after video of a song about “wet ass p-ssy.”

It’s of course true that American culture is decaying on its own. But it doesn’t help that a company based in and legally under the control of China is in charge of a place our kids spend hours a day, talking about politics, family life, and culture. It would be like Moscow owning our film studios during the Cold War, except worse because TikTok is omnipresent in every teen’s pocket.

TikTok is known for its sophisticated algorithm, which one expert told the New York Times “tries to get people addicted rather than giving them what they really want.” There’s mounting evidence that TikTok is having negative effects on users’ health, which you can read more about here. Beijing seems to understand this because the government is taking steps to prevent the app from addicting its own users.

In China, Douyin is subject to government control intended to make the app a force for cultural good and a vehicle for propaganda. Users under 14 can only access the app at certain times of day for a capped period of time, and are delivered “interesting popular science experiments, exhibitions in museums and galleries, beautiful scenery across the country, explanations of historical knowledge, and so on.”

All users are subject to mandatory five-second pauses after spending a certain amount of time on the app, during which they’re delivered videos that tell them to “put down the phone,” “go to bed,” and “work tomorrow.” The app censors political content that transgresses Beijing’s boundaries. It was fined last year for spreading “obscene, pornographic, and vulgar” content.

None of this is to say the U.S. government should start curbing free expression on TikTok. I think there’s a good argument to be made that social media is a public health emergency and demands more transparency. The point is that ByteDance owns an app that’s controlled by a government seeking to undermine...

Now We Know Why Capitol Police Won’t Release Any of Those 14,000 Hours of Jan. 6 Footage

The U.S. public is purposefully being kept in the dark about what actually happened on January 6. But it isn’t Donald Trump or his associates that stand in the way — it’s the Democrat-led Congress.

The Capitol Police are seeking to shut down a legal request for its communications and surveillance video on January 6, as was requested in connection with a Judicial Watch lawsuit.

The Congress that oversees the Capitol Police has blocked it from releasing the footage, because it is preposterously not in the “public interest,” nor is it a matter of “public record.” It is also claiming “sovereign immunity.”

The Speaker Pelosi-led House “has argued that the videos and emails are not public records, there is no public interest in their release, and that ‘sovereign immunity’ prevents citizens from suing for their release,” Judicial Watch pointed out.

On January 21, 2021, Judicial Watch issued a request for the following:
  • Email communications between the U.S. Capitol Police Executive Team and the Capitol Police Board concerning the security of the Capitol on January 6, 2021. The timeframe of this request is from January 1, 2021 through January 10, 2021.
  • Email communications of the Capitol Police Board with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security concerning the security of the Capitol on January 6, 2021. The timeframe of this request is from January 1, 2021 through January 10, 2021.
  • All video footage from within the Capitol between 12 pm and 9 pm on January 6, 2021.

According to Judicial Watch, the Capitol Police provided the following rationale to the court for continuing to withhold the requested information:

The USCP’s camera security system, including footage recorded by it within the Capitol and sought by [Judicial Watch], is solely for national security and law enforcement purposes.

Access to video footage from the USCP’s camera security system is limited to narrow circumstances and strictly controlled by USCP policy.

The USCP has not made any public disclosures of video footage from January 6 from its camera security system.

There are currently pending criminal investigations and prosecutions of individuals involved in the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

There are currently pending congressional investigations into the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The Capitol Police’s excuse for not providing transparency to the public, more than one year after the highly controversial and politically consequential incident, did not satisfy Judicial Watch.

“In ‘the courts of this country’ – including the federal courts – the common law bestows upon the public a right of access to public records and...
