Europe Plans "Emergency Intervention" In Power Market As All Hell Breaks Loose

With even Zoltan Pozsar warning that Europe faces an apocalypse of sorts now that the Eurussia divorce is complete and energy prices in Europe are hitting fresh daily record highs every single day - just today, German 1Year forward baseload electricity rose above €1000, or 10x where they were a year ago, before easing after European nat gas prices plunged the most since March after Germany said its gas stores are filling up faster than planned ahead of winter...

The European Union appears to have finally realized that it faces an armed revolt this winter, or worse, when millions face freezing cold without power and heat and announced that it was planning "urgent steps" to push down soaring power prices, Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Monday.

"The skyrocketing electricity prices are now exposing, for different reasons, the limitations of our current electricity market design,” von der Leyen said in a speech at the Bled Strategic Summit in Slovenia, pointing out what has been obvious for years to those who warned repeatedly that Europe should probably not take make its energy policy based on the idiotic ravings of a self-absorbed, petulant, Scandinavian teenager. “It was developed under completely different circumstances and completely different purposes.”

Ah yes, it's the "circumstances and purposes" that are at fault, not Europe's catastrophic "green" push over the past decade that left the continent at the mercy of Putin, very much as one Donald J Trump warned would happen... and speaking of Putin, maybe Europe can impose a few more self-destructive sanctions on...

World Economic Forum Suggests There Are “Solid, Rational” Reasons For Children to Be Microchipped

Predicts they will become fashion accessories.

Not doing their Bond villain reputation status any favors, the World Economic Forum published an article suggesting it would be a “solid, rational” move for children to be implanted with microchips.

Yes, really.

The idea is promoted in a blog post on the Davos elite’s website which discusses the future of augmented reality and an “augmented society.”

“As scary as chip implants may sound, they form part of a natural evolution that wearables once underwent. Hearing aids or glasses no longer carry a stigma,” the article argues, perhaps forgetting that glasses and hearing aids aren’t embedded inside the body, nor can they be controlled by outside forces.

“They are accessories and are even considered a fashion item. Likewise, implants will evolve into a commodity,” writes scientist Kathleen Philips, suggesting that mainstream culture and influencers will be tapped to promote implantable chips as a trendy status symbol.

The article pushes the notion that augmented humans are inevitable and that global elites need to establish a power monopoly over the technology in order to “ethically” regulate it.

The technology is in need of “the right support, vision, and audacity,” which of course will be provided by your technocratic overlords, the same people who are desperately trying to censor the Internet so they can’t be criticized.

“The augmenting technology will help in all stages of life: children in a learning environment, professionals at work and ambitious senior citizens. There are many possibilities,” writes Philips.

“Should you implant a tracking chip in your child?” asks the scientist, adding, “There are solid, rational reasons for it, like safety.”

As we previously highlighted, World Economic Forum chief Klaus Schwab wrote in his book ‘The Great Reset’ that the fourth industrial revolution would “lead to a fusion of our physical, digital and biological identity,” which he clarifies is implantable microchips that can read your thoughts.

During this year’s Davos meeting of global elitists, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla explained to Schwab how soon there would be “ingestible pills” – a pill with a tiny microchip chip that would send a wireless signal to relevant authorities when the pharmaceutical has been consumed.

“Imagine the compliance,” said Bourla.

“It wasn’t that long ago that those speculating on a future where this is happening would get dismissed as conspiracy theorists, but now the world elites’ most vocal outlet is predicting that chip implants will eventually become...

The FBI’s Trump Raid Should Concern Every American, Including His Detractors

If the FBI can so easily obtain the right to raid Trump’s home, what is left to protect you, your home, or your privacy?

The long-awaited release of the “affidavit” of probable cause in support of the Trump raid is finally here. Oh, there are plenty of redactions; more than 20 out of 38 pages are full or partial redactions. Even the list of reasons for the redactions is completely redacted except for a couple of “Agent Safety” references.

A heavy redaction is not surprising. What is surprising is what we are left with in the unredacted portions, which does nothing to support the justification for the warrant nor the manner in which the warrant was executed. We can now see more clearly why the DOJ did not want to release the affidavit.

Plain and simply, the affidavit appears to have forgotten to include the legal and factual basis to establish probable cause that President Trump illegally removed or possessed highly classified documents in his home. For the warrant to withstand constitutional scrutiny, the redacted portions have a lot of work to do to articulate a very dark and sinister set of facts describing how Trump took top secrets of the United States that he did not declassify and that he did so with the intent to harm the United States or profit on the sensitive information. Otherwise, it is hard to fathom the decision to pursue a former president of the United States and current leader of the opposing political party in the manner that the DOJ and FBI have in this case.

Without more, the unredacted portions leave objective Americans with a stronger concern that this case is more about the DOJ and FBI disagreeing with Trump’s lawyers on what the former president could legally keep and subsequently taking matters into their own hands.

First, let’s address the apparent shortcomings of the affidavit in terms of establishing the necessary probable cause to secure a warrant. The Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution protects citizens against the unreasonable search of their person or property, as well as their seizure (arrest). To comply with the Fourth Amendment, the government must establish probable cause that a crime has been committed and that the location to be searched contains specific evidence of that crime. The search can be determined unreasonable when the law does not clearly articulate an applicable crime, the facts do not justify the search, or the scope of the search exceeds the basis upon which the search warrant was granted.

To this end, conjecture does not probable cause make, and yet, from the unredacted portion, conjecture appears to be what scored the FBI a warrant to search Trump’s home.

The FBI’s affidavit does not establish probable cause to find that Trump was complicit in the removal of classified materials from the White House, or the subsequent improper storage of the same in his home at Mar-a-Lago. This bald assertion is based on allegations that 15 boxes were presented to the National Archives from Mar-a-Lago earlier this year pursuant to the Presidential Records Act, and that some of the documents therein were classified. The FBI’s request for a warrant to search Trump’s residence was predicated on their assumption that Trump probably sent these documents from Mar-a-Lago, and that this means there is probable cause that there are more classified documents at this location, that Trump is in possession of these documents, and that illegal actions have been taken around these documents.

Nowhere in the redacted affidavit is there a presentation of facts to establish that probable cause exists that classified documents remained at Mar-a-Lago nor that Trump was aware or personally in possession of the documents.

Moreover, the FBI’s affidavit presents no facts to suggest that the alleged classified documents were possessed illegally or otherwise subject to illegal activity. The affidavit glossed over credible legal defenses supporting the legality of Trump’s alleged possession and failed to address whether it possessed the authority to...
