South African highest court deems chant to kill all whites not hate speech
A black chant calling for the killing of "Boers" – white South Africans – is not considered a hate crime or racist speech. This has now been decided by the Supreme Court in South Africa.
It passed judgement on the song “Kill the Boer” and unsurprisingly ruled that it was not a case of “hate speech”. Rather, it is protected by “freedom of expression” and must be left to the political debate within society.
The song says, among other things, “The cowards are afraid. Shoot the Boers, shoot, shoot.” The case was brought before the court by the Afrikaner organization AfriForum, an advocacy group for the dwindling white population still living in South Africa.
In particular, it accused the left-wing, anti-white party Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) under its President Julius Malema of playing the song at their rallies and thus calling for violence against whites. One of the political goals of the EFF is the expropriation of all white properties. Its policies are dictated by operatives from the British Foreign Office. However, according to the court, AfriForum allegedly could not prove that the song’s lyrics were intended to harm people.
The court is known to be packed with anti-white, globalist-leaning judges. The South African Constitutional Court notably also found that same-sex couples had a “constitutional right” to marry. The former Marriage Act was deemed “unconstitutional and had violated section 9 of the Constitution – the Right to Equality”. This ruling is especially curious in a country were same-sex relations are not tolerated by the vast majority of the black population, rendering it undeniably undemocratic.
According to the Human Rights Watch (HRW), at least 20 LGBTQ individuals were murdered in South Africa in 2021.
The EFF complained that the white organization had highlighted the white genocide in the country. In addition, they claimed that AfriForum was based on a “racist narrative” according to which all black people are irrational and therefore willing to kill because of a song. “The attempt by the racists to erase the cultural element of the liberation struggle in South Africa has failed miserably,” emphasized EFF spokesman Sinawo Thambo.
The truth is that since the end of apartheid in South Africa in the 1980s, tens of thousands of white people have been murdered. The victims are usually farmers [Boers], and their killers are black gangs whose crimes are often unspeakably cruel. Their goal is to drive the Boers out of the country and transfer their land holdings to...
Joe Biden: American Fascist
He’s accusing his opponents of what he does.
So there is the supposed one-time moderate Democrat — now morphed into a far-left progressive president — saying this at what was said to be, per the Washington Examiner, “a million-dollar fundraiser, according to a pool report.”
President Joe Biden said, without the least sense of irony:
What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy. It’s not just Trump; it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism.
So MAGA, which, if anyone is paying attention, is about distinctly all-American beliefs like capitalism, free speech, racial equality, free and honest elections, peace through strength, “Making America Great Again,” and more is now “semi-fascism”? Really? Really?
This is the same old, same old use by Biden of the old psychological game of projection — accusing your opponents of what you yourself are the living embodiment of.
Over there at Merriam-Webster, fascism is defined thusly:
A political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.
Or perhaps turn to the famous 20th-century exponent of the “Austrian School of economics,” Ludwig von Mises, who defined fascism as a philosophy that “suppressed all dissenting views.” (Can you say the FBI and Facebook? Or Twitter and the New York Post?)
So let’s go through the vividly-on-display Biden fascism that has been thrust upon Americans:
• “Severe economic and social regimentation” is a central characteristic of fascism. What, pray tell, have all those Biden–Fauci lockdowns, mask, and vaccine regimens been if not ordering that “severe economic and social regimentation” be imposed forcibly on every American?
• Fascism “exalts … race above the individual.” Again, what, pray tell, is identity politics, critical race theory, and more far-left racism that has been the building block of Biden’s party from slavery to segregation been about if not to exalt race above the individual? Biden himself exemplifies this aspect of fascism by demanding that his appointees be selected not by qualification but by race. Not to mention when he blurted to the African American radio host “Charlamagne tha God” as follows: “Well, I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.” Thus speaks fascism.
• “Forcible suppression of opposition”? Can you say Mar-a-Lago? Can you say the killing of Jan. 6 peaceful, unarmed protestor Ashli Babbitt?
Fascists, chimed in Biden White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, “are using threats of violence.” Say what? On Jan. 6, Trump called his supporters to protest “peacefully and patriotically.” Decidedly not fascism. But in the midst of over 500 riots in American cities by Black Lives Matter and Antifa leftists — riots that caused multiples of deaths and billions of dollars of destruction? That’s fascism. And who helped to bail out the rioting fascists? That would be Joe Biden’s vice presidential running mate, Kamala Harris, and his own staff. Talk about a taste for fascism!
On and on go the examples of flat-out fascism from Joe Biden and his authoritarian-minded compatriots. To which they respond by pointing their fingers at...
Trump Legal Team Blasts DOJ for ‘Leak,’ ‘Unprecedented Behavior’
Former President Donald Trump’s legal team blasted the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI for scattering documents seized from Mar-a-Lago across the floor “for dramatic effect” in its latest court filing on Wednesday.
“Even yesterday, the Government’s Response gratuitously included a photograph of allegedly classified materials, pulled from a container and spread across the floor for dramatic effect,” Trump’s attorneys wrote.
Wednesday’s filing by Trump’s attorneys came in response to the DOJ’s Tuesday filing opposing Trump’s request for a special master to conduct an independent review of the documents the FBI seized from Mar-a-Lago in early August.
Trump’s legal team blasted the government’s opposition motion, calling it an “extraordinary document” that suggested “the DOJ, and the DOJ alone, should be entrusted with the responsibility of evaluating its unjustified pursuit of criminalizing a former President’s possession of personal and Presidential records in a secure setting.”
“Now, the Government twists the framework of responding to a motion for a Special Master into an all-encompassing challenge to any judicial consideration, presently or in the future, of any aspect of its unprecedented behavior in this investigation,” Trump’s attorneys wrote.
In the DOJ filing, counterintelligence chief Jay Bratt said the government found “evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation.”
The DOJ’s response to Trump’s request for a special master also included photos of documents the FBI seized from Mar-a-Lago scattered across the floor, leading some to assume that is how Trump kept the documents.
“There seems to be confusion as to the ‘picture’ where documents were sloppily thrown on the floor and then released photographically for the world to see, as if that’s what the FBI found when they broke into my home,” Trump posted on Truth Social hours before his legal team submitted its latest filing. He continued:
Wrong! They took them out of cartons and spread them around on the carpet, making it look like a big ‘find’ for them. They dropped them, not me – Very deceiving…And remember, we could have NO representative, including lawyers, present during the Raid. They were told to wait outside.Trump’s attorneys also criticized the federal government’s justification for its criminal inquiry into the former president. Trump attorneys said:
The purported justification for the initiation of this criminal probe was the alleged discovery of sensitive information contained within the 15 boxes of Presidential records. But this ‘discovery’ was to be fully anticipated given the very nature of Presidential records. Simply put, the notion that Presidential records would contain sensitive information should have never been cause for alarm.Although the DOJ argued a special master is no longer necessary because its “filter team” had already conducted a preliminary review of the seized documents, Trump’s legal team blasted the DOJ’s Privilege Review Team for not contacting them and argued the review was...
Feds Pinpoint Nearly 30K Mexican Passport Holders With Middle Eastern Names in Fraud Investigation
Federal law enforcement officials have identified a high number of individuals with Middle Eastern names traveling with Mexican passports, according to an internal Department of Homeland Security memo obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Since the beginning of 2022, nearly 30,000 Mexican passport holders were flagged as part of the investigation into passport fraud, the memo states, adding that each identified individual will be further evaluated. A senior official at DHS who spoke on the condition of anonymity said the agency will likely investigate whether any of the individuals have traveled to the United States and whether there are any other patterns in their travel.
The concern over fraudulent passports comes as a surge of illegal migrants at the southern border overwhelms the immigration system. With hundreds of thousands of migrants attempting to enter the country each month, Border Patrol and other law enforcement agencies often lack resources to properly vet who is entering the country. DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said last year that the United States risks losing its "first line of defense" because of the "unsustainable" amount of illegal immigration at the border.
There are fears that terror groups such as al Qaeda could take advantage of the strained immigration system. Last April, for example, two Yemeni nationals on the terrorist watch list were apprehended at the southern border. Law enforcement officials appear concerned that bad actors could abuse the legal travel system to enter the country with passports obtained from Mexico, and enter the United States legally. Roughly 20 million Mexican citizens easily travel to the United States as tourists each year, according to the U.S. Travel Association.
"This investigation highlights that criminals often use legal travel to facilitate criminal activity," the senior DHS official told the Free Beacon. "The nexus to Mexico should cause the public and lawmakers to reflect on how a porous border can be even more dangerous."
The Department of Homeland Security did not respond to a request for comment.
The concerning passports were identified by the agency's National Targeting Center, the memo states. The lesser known subagency, created shortly after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, "works quickly and quietly to identify people and products that pose potential threats to our Nation’s security, and to stop them from entering the United States," according to a 2014 public memo.
The National Targeting Center also assists Immigration and Customs Enforcement with deporting money launderers and child predators, the senior DHS official said. The National Targeting Center regularly partners with other agencies on investigations involving terrorism or global criminal networks.
The agency uses naming conventions specific to different regions to automatically pinpoint the most likely nationality of individuals—in Mexico, for example, individuals typically keep two surnames, one from each parent. In much of the Arab world, individuals can be given much longer names which often include an entire chain of ancestors on...
