Kevin McCarthy’s Top CA GOP Lieutenant Linked to Chinese Theft of U.S. Tech, Intellectual Property
The California GOP Vice Chair is closely tied to Chinese entities identified by the Trump Administration as being linked to the theft and transfer of American intellectual property.
A top California Republican and lieutenant of Kevin McCarthy is closely tied to the Chinese entities identified by the Trump Administration as being linked to the theft and transfer of American intellectual property by and to China.
Chung Cheng Kuo, who is actually from Taiwan, and who purports to work in the insurance industry, has founded several companies, many with ties to China and the Chinese-connected innovation space and business incubator, the ZGC Innovation Center.
Nothing moves in California Republican Party politics without McCarthy’s say-so. The same goes for the selection of its top party brass. Chung Cheng Kuo, the California GOP’s Vice Chair, and Jessica Patterson, the Chairwoman of the California GOP, are no exception.
Politico reported on the election of a homosexual treasurer, Mr. Kuo, and Patterson – labeled McCarthy allies – as if it were a much-needed salve for “battered California Republicans.”
Unsurprisingly, as it turns out, Politico’s salve actually ends up being America’s Poison.
Kuo, who is the Vice Chair under Jessica Patterson, despite being from Taiwan, has deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party’s tech development and intellectual property theft institutions.
Chung Cheng Kuo and the Chinese Threat to America
Mr. Kuo, or “Peter,” as he calls himself, was recently elected Vice Chairman of the California Republican Party.
Politico celebrated the increased diversity, noting that in addition to the Latina Patterson, the party also elected a gay man as well as an East Bay businessman.
His business ties run directly to Zhongguancun (ZGC – also called Zhong Guan Cun), a technology district located in Beijing, China.
The ZGC Innovation Center is run by ZGC Capital, which is controlled by Beijing’s municipal government through the Zhongguancun Development Group (ZDG).
In 2018, Donald Trump’s US Trade Representative and Elsa Kania identified ZGC and the ZGC Innovation Center, with which Kuo is closely tied, as being linked to the Chinese theft of American intellectual property (I.P.) and transfer of American I.P. to China.
The Municipal Government in Beijing is synonymous with the Chinese Communist Party, or CCP, according to Encyclopedia Britannica:
The Beijing Municipal People’s Congress follows the guidance of the local CCP in issuing administrative orders, collecting taxes, determining the budget, and implementing economic plans. Under the direction of the local CCP, a standing committee of the Municipal People’s Congress recommends policy decisions and oversees the operation of municipal government.National File has confirmed these shocking revelations about Kuo, a top Republican in California, after a review of publicly available documents, statements Kuo made to the press and filings with the state of California by...

‘Woke’ Reporter Humiliated by Own Past Tweets after Issuing Threat to Elon Musk
A “woke” reporter ended up getting humiliated by his own past tweets after his threats against Elon Musk on Twitter immediately backfired.
The Left has been outraged after Musk suspended several leftist journalists on Thursday.
Twitter updated its policies earlier this week to ban “doxxing” – the posting of a person’s personal information, such as their address or location, against their wishes.
Several left-wing journalists were then suspended for using a private jet tracker to tell Twitter users where Musk was in real time.
However, Musk has long argued that publishing his real-time location puts him and his family in danger, especially due to the increased threats he’s received since taking over Twitter.
Musk had already suspended the plane tracker’s account, but the journalists were sharing his tracking data from other social media outlets.
Twitter suspended the plane tracker after the data led to a stalker attacking a car containing Musk’s son.
Musk also asked for help from the public to identify the attacker.
Those suspended included Washington Post reporter Drew Harwell, CNN reporter Donie O’Sullivan, the New York Times’s Ryan Mac, progressive propagandist Aaron Rupar, hardcore leftist Keith Olbermann, and others.
As Musk explained, he took action after his family was “doxxed.”
“As I’m sure anyone who has been doxed would agree, you know, showing real-time information about someone’s location is inappropriate and I think everyone on this call would not like that to be done to them,” Musk said to a group of journalists on a conference call with the media.
Meanwhile, the suspensions drove CBS Sports alumnus and sports reporter Jason Kint into a furious meltdown.
Kint, who was not one of those suspended, was infuriated after Musk put the journalists on suspension.
He jumped to his own Twitter account to blast Musk, warning that the recently ensconced owner of Twitter had better “fix this within the hour with an explanation.”
He then threatened Musk with an ultimatum.
Kint warned that, if Musk doesn’t meet his demands, then “I’ll be on Capitol Hill tomorrow demanding that he be hauled in front of Congress.”

It’s unclear whether or not Musk is quaking in his boots over the thought of Kint’s crusade on Capitol Hill.
Kint tweeted on, accusing Musk of creating new rules, then punishing the journalists in retrospect for violating them.
The sports journalist added that Musk is “leaning into a claimed rule established yesterday – which was his right to establish; it’s a very bad decision to ban press for reporting on it – which is his right; and misrepresenting the facts on it all.”
Kint was, of course, presenting himself as a supporter of the First Amendment and claiming Musk was a violator of all that is holy by banning journalists and putting a halt to their free speech.
If the Internet wasn’t forever, then Kint could have almost passed himself off to his followers as a crusader for free speech.
But, unfortunately for Kint, the “woke” journalist was hoisted by his own petard when his own past tweets reemerged and ended up exposing him as a hypocrite.
Indeed, when the leftists were running Twitter, Kint was all up in arms against those who criticized the outlet for banning conservative users.
Indeed, Kint was seen tweeting that Twitter was a “private company,” and therefore people should just shut up because they had a right to ban anyone they wanted to ban.
Several Twitter users were quick to bust Kint on his hypocrisy.
“Is this you?” one Twitter user asked in a post containing Kint’s old tweets.
“No longer care it’s a private platform?
“We were all so impressed by your principles.”

Here Comes The Job Shock: Philadelphia Fed Admits US Jobs "Overstated" By At Least 1.1 Million
Regular readers are well aware that back in July, Zero Hedge first (long before it became a running theme among so-called "macro experts") pointed out that a gaping 1+ million job differential had opened up between the closely-watched and market-impacting, if easily gamed and manipulated, Establishment Survey and the far more accurate if volatile, Household Survey - the two core components of the monthly non-farm payrolls report.
We first described this divergence in early July, when looking at the June payrolls data, we found that the gap between the Housing and Establishment Surveys had blown out to 1.5 million starting in March when "something snapped." We described this in "Something Snaps In The US Labor Market: Full, Part-Time Workers Plunge As Multiple Jobholders Soar."
Since then the difference only got worse, and culminated earlier this month when the gap between the Establishment and Household surveys for the November dataset nearly doubled to a whopping 2.7 million jobs, a bifurcation which we described in "Something Is Rigged: Unexplained, Record 2.7 Million Jobs Gap Emerges In Broken Payrolls Report."
Whether this divergence was due to wrong seasonal adjustments (a remnant of the overreaction taken by the Dept of Labor following the covid crunch to normalize for a new normal labor market), due to erroneous Birth-Death assumptions (here too, the Dept of Labor was assuming early cycle new business creation which clearly is wrong with the economy late cycle and millions of businesses shutting down, ignoring the open PPP fraud that took place in early/mid-2000s as everyone "opened up" businesses to get free money from the government), due to the Establishment Survey inability to tell the difference between full, part and multiple-jobs - as a reminder we first showed that since March, the US had lost 400K full-time jobs offset by far lower paying part-time jobs as well as double-counted multiple jobholders...
