Exclusive: German Populist MP Wants to Help Grant ‘Political Prisoner’ Tommy Robinson Asylum… ‘1984 is Now’

BERLIN, Germany: Populist Alternative for Germany MP Petr Bystron has announced he wants to try and help Tommy Robinson claim asylum in Germany and spoke exclusively to Breitbart London on the political oppression of opponents of the establishment.

The populist MP announced over the weekend that he wanted to help former English Defence League leader turned citizen journalist Tommy Robinson to claim asylum in Germany following Robinson’s recent arrest.

Calling Robinson a “political prisoner”, Mr. Bystron expressed concern over the growing number of arrests and legal cases being brought up against both members and supporters of populist movements and activist organisations.

“We have two points,” he said. “The first is not only is he a politically persecuted person, now he’s become a political prisoner, which is one level higher.”

“The second point is, as we all know, it’s a danger for his life. He’s going to be in prison with 80 per cent Muslims,” he said and added: “We were thinking about it, you know, how could we help?”

“We’ve seen there has been a high level of opposition throughout Europe against this act. So we said, ‘Okay now society is reacting but we need not only banners, not only stickers but something else, something real,'” he said and noted the move was also a criticism of Germany’s open border migrant policy during the 2015 migrant crisis.

Bystrom noted that he had received a lot of positive feedback from the public saying that his social media was filled with comments supporting the idea.

Political persecution of populists and supporters of anti-establishment parties and movements is something Bystrom said he believed was happening across the continent.

“For me, it’s a deviation of the law, a deviation of European heritage,” he noted and said: “In fact, with the current EU we are coming back into the time of...

ROBINSON FREED!! Tommy Robinson freed after winning appeal over contempt of court sentence

TOMMY Robinson will today be freed from jail after winning his appeal for a contempt of court conviction.

The English Defence League (EDL) founder was sentenced to 13 months in prison earlier this year after broadcasting footage of trial defendants on social media.

Tommy Robinson was arrested outside Leeds Crown Court in May
But the 35-year-old, who did not appear for the hearing, is a free man again after the Court of Appeal ruled there were technical flaws in the ruling of the judge who jailed him.

The original judge was found to have rushed Robinson’s trial and as a result the court did not hear which parts of his offending footage was problematic.

This meant that he could not defend himself properly, the Court of Appeal heard.

The allegations against Robinson will be reheard at The Old Bailey later this year - possibly as early as September.

Tommy Robinson was told his actions may have caused the sensitive case to be abandoned

Announcing the decision to free Robinson, Lord Burnett told the court: "The appellant is granted bail and the matter of contempt at Leeds Crown Court is remitted to be heard again."

Robinson supporters wearing 'Free Tommy' t-shirts cheered outside the Court of Appeal today, after months of campaigning for his release.

Judges were urged to overturn the original findings against the free speech activist, whose real name is Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon.

There were also mass protests against his sentence, with scenes turning ugly on the streets of London as campaigners called for Robinson to be freed.

At a hearing in July, his QC Jeremy Dein argued that procedural "deficiencies" had given rise to "prejudice".

Mr Dein also submitted that "insufficient" regard had been given to Robinson's personal mitigation - factors which could reduce sentence, like an early guilty plea - and as a result his sentence was "manifestly excessive".

Robinson's footage was watched 250,000 times within hours of...

This Tommy Robinson Verdict Is a Travesty of Justice

Tommy Robinson has yet again been found guilty of contempt of court and now faces up to two years in prison.

Islamists, the mainstream media, and the left-liberal establishment will be delighted to see the man they like to call “Stephen Yaxley-Lennon” crushed, humiliated and put in his proper place.

But the feeling among many ordinary people will be that justice has not been done. The judges at the Old Bailey may have concluded today that Robinson was technically guilty of contempt of court when he livestreamed outside the Leeds trial of a Pakistani rape gang. As far as his many supporters will be concerned, though, Robinson is really being punished for being a member of the white working class who had the temerity to draw attention to a national scandal — Muslim grooming gangs — which the Establishment has long sought to play down.

An unbelievable verdict at the Old Bailey. Tommy Robinson found guilty on three counts of contempt of court. Sentencing next Thursday. This is a travesty of justice. A political verdict on trumped up charges. What kind of country are we now living in?

I have had to step out of the court to make my way to the airport. But I have the news from @AndrewLawton & @jessicaswiet. I am shocked. Just two hours ago I naively predicted that Tommy would be acquitted. How wrong I was about this case -- and about the United Kingdom.

Ezra Levant is the Canadian reporter who has done more than anyone to expose the injustice of Robinson’s predicament. Levant has repeatedly flown from Canada to report on Robinson’s trials with a diligence, fairness, and attention to detail entirely lacking from the mainstream media’s coverage.

The case dates back to 2018, when — in his role as citizen journalist and crusader against the grooming gangs which have preyed especially on white working-class communities around Britain — Robinson filmed and tried to interview some of the defendants outside...

Teenager forced to quit college after she defends Tommy Robinson

A British teenager, Alissa Cook-Gray, was forced to leave her new college – because she told her classmates that her favourite person was Tommy Robinson.

The 17-year-old from Crewe was attending the first day of her art course at the institution, when a political debate erupted among students.

Alissa said her classmates had been vocal in their support for Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn when she said in response that she would rather support a conservative figure.

When asked who she admired, Alissa admitted that the liked Tommy Robinson, an Islam critic. But even the teacher turned on her.

“I said my opinion and the teacher said ‘get out, we don’t want people with your views’. I was given a final warning for being too right wing.” She says she was too “terrified” to return to her course and has taken the decision drop out, StokeonTrentLive reported.

“The class started asking everyone who their favourite person was and I said Tommy Robinson. I like what he is doing for our country and I follow all of his stories – I think he is a saviour,” she explained.

“I was given a final warning for being too right wing. It was the first day and we were all having a conversation when Jeremy Corbyn came up, I asked people not to get into it because it was filled with a room of lefties.”

She said she now felt threatened after having expressed herself. “Everyone should be allowed to have their own opinion but I felt mine was just shot down. I’m terrified and I don’t want to go back.”

Gareth Cook, Alissa’s father, said the training centre should not discriminate against people’s race, religion, or their political views.

He said he was extremely angry over the treatment his daughter had received. “I’m absolutely fuming at what happened and they should not have turned around and said she might not be able to continue with the course.

“She had to sit there and put up with opinions she doesn’t agree with and they only reacted like this because it’s Tommy Robinson. I’m a big fan and think the guy is a legend but this is how people react when they hear...

Tommy Robinson Protests Continue For Second Week As Thousands Take To The Streets

Thousands of Tommy Robinson supporters and free speech advocates around the world took to the streets for a second week of protests against the imprisonment of the UK journalist and political activist. Robinson was arrested on May 25 outside Leeds Crown Court for reporting on a pedophile grooming trial. After a brief court proceeding in which he did not have access to his lawyer, Robinson was handed a 13-month prison sentence for violating the terms of a suspended sentence on a similar offense.

Demonstrations were held in Britain, Germany, the United States and several other countries. Around 400 people gathered outside Leeds Crown Court on Saturday for a march through the city center, while approximately 1,000 filled the streets of Manchester for a #FreeTommy demonstration, reported to have been spearheaded by the Democratic Football Lad's Alliance.

Germans gathered in Nuremberg to show their support for Robinson, while a crowd also protested outside the UK embassy in Denmark:

Across the pond, a rainy Sunday protest was held outside the British Embassy in Washington DC.

Robinson was admonished last year by Judge Heather Norton for filming outside a gang rape case in Canterbury, who slapped him with a three month suspended sentence on the condition that he cease his coverage of the trials.
you should be under no illusions that if you commit any further offence of any kind, and that would include, I would have thought a further contempt of court by similar actions, then that sentence of three months would be activated -Judge Heather Norton
“This is not about free speech, not about the freedom of the press, nor about legitimate journalism, and not about political correctness,” the judge told Robinson at the time.

Robinson's prior offense is what gave Judge Geoffrey Marson QC justification to lock him away within hours of his arrest. Disturbingly, Marson also ordered an Orwellian media blackout - which resulted in several publications deleting their articles from the web covering...
