According to the Russian government, 14 sailors were killed in the fire, CNBCadded. However, days after the incident, Moscow still wasn’t talking about what kind of submarine was involved or whether it was a nuclear-powered vessel.

A possible reason for Russia’s caginess? Multiple sources are now claiming the sub was an AS-12 “Losharik,” a nuclear-powered submarine some speculate was designed to cut the undersea cables that deliver internet to the world.
According to Russian media outlets RBC and Novaya Gazeta, anonymous sources claim the submarine was a Losharik — a class of sub that has been in operation since 2003, though the Kremlin’s defense ministry has never come out and declared its official purpose.

If AOC's claim that migrant children were forced to drink 'toilet water' at detention facilities along the border sounded unrealistic, that's because it was, as the Arizona Border Patrol proved in a video tour of one facility.
After a visit to the border, AOC mocked border patrol members by tweeting that they "sexually threatened her" - referring to a private Facebook group where members made disparaging jokes about her (again, in private) - and insisted that the conditions in migrant detention facilities were as bad as WWII-era concentration camps.
Of course, this wouldn't be the only example of AOC hamming it up for the media during her border sojourn.
