After Being Confronted at Meeting, CEO Laughably Touts ABC’s ‘Stellar Record’ of Objectivity

Justin Danhof, General Counsel for the National Center for Public Policy Research, on Wednesday confronted the new CEO of Disney about ABC's obviously slanted political coverage. (Disney owns ABC.) CEO Bob Chapek laughably touted the “stellar record” of objectivity from the network's news division. Considering that ABC just had to suspend a reporter for bragging about his socialism, this may not exactly be convincing.

Danhof appeared at a shareholder meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina and said to Chapek: “It appears that, for now, the palpable anti-conservative bias will continue at ABC News. We call on more consumers and shareholders to make their voices heard, and we applaud the true journalism of the folks at Project Veritas that continues to expose the lies and hypocrisy stemming from mainstream media outlets such as ABC.”

Chapek replied:
So, interestingly enough, the first trip I took after I got the new job was to ABC News in New York. And I must say I was overwhelmed by their professionalism and their commitment to objectivity.

In terms of Mr. Wright, he said some things that made us question his objectivity. And, obviously, when you’re reporting the news, that’s no place for somebody who’s got a heavy, subjective opinion. So – internally – we dealt with that situation.

But, ah, I think ABC News has a stellar track record of being objective in reporting the news and it’ll continue in the future.
A stellar record? Let’s review. ABC in February was forced to suspend David Wright after he was caught on a Project Veritas sting video.
PROJECT VERITAS: You consider yourself a Democrat socialist?

DAVID WRIGHT: Oh yeah. More than that. I’d consider myself a socialist.
His bias was evident to anyone who watched. In past reporting, he cheered Bernie Sanders’s “revolution,” hyping the campaign as “on fire.” In the Project Veritas video, this journalist who would report on politics for the network, spewed venom at Donald Trump, calling him a “dick” and the “fucking president.”

In 2012, ABC’s Brian Ross, without evidence, went on air to falsely connect the Tea Party to the mass murder in Aurora, Colorado. In 2018, Ross left the network after a false story about former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

On the National Center website, Danhof described the out-of-touch attitude at ABC News:

Director of Taxpayer-Funded Museum Who Said She Hopes “Every Single” Person Who Votes Republican Dies Ends up Resigning

Museum Director Ends up Resigning after Public Outrage

The director of a Texas museum that receives taxpayer dollars appears to be in trouble over a post she made on Facebook on Super Tuesday, according to a KTXS-TV report.

“I hope every single one of you pieces of s**t that votes Republican dies today,” Melonnie Hicks, executive director of the Pioneer City County Museum in Sweetwater, posted, according to the station’s report.

After Hicks’ post went viral and controversy exploded, KTXS said she apologized on Facebook: “I was really mad at Republicans for voting against health care since my options today are die or go into debt to see the doctor. It was gross which is [why] I deleted it.”

According to a KTAB-TV report, both messages that Hicks posted on her personal Facebook page have been deleted.

.KTXS reported that the museum’s board of directors had an emergency meeting at the Sweetwater Police Department on Friday, March 6, 2020. The Blaze reported that Hicks ended up resigning.

“It’s regrettable and reprehensible, especially from someone who is a community leader,” City Manager David Vela told the station regarding Hicks’ social media comments. “Those kinds of comments should never be made on social media or anywhere else.”

Vela also told KTXS that the city doesn’t support her statement and that he hopes the board makes the “right and responsible choice” although the board “may have a different definition of ‘right and responsible.’ Let’s just see what actions they take, and we’ll go from there.”

Joe Hyde, publisher of San Angelo Live and a Republican, penned an op-ed saying Hicks should keep her job despite her inflammatory post.

“I don’t in the least bit feel threatened by [Hicks’] off-the-cuff comment on Facebook wishing that I die,” Hyde stated. “I know Facebook is driven by creating engagement that produces long visits and lots of eyeballs on its advertisements. Facebook evokes strong emotions to keep its users scrolling. The easiest emotion to incite is anger, and Facebook’s algorithm is quite good at turning calm and peaceful people into raging lunatics. Hicks was spending too much time on Facebook and wrote something she...

Boaters for Trump is a hot thing! South Florida boaters make waves for POTUS

If the turnout at his rallies wasn’t enough of an indication of the enthusiasm that President Trump enjoys from supporters, the votes being cast for the president in various primary states would suggest as much.

Though more localized, another indication would be a “Trump Flotilla 2020” seen in South Florida.

Boaters participated in a parade in support of the president over the weekend in the Hillsboro Beach Intracoastal waterway, located about 30 miles south of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, as seen in a video shared on Facebook.

As seen in one photo, the “Boaters for Trump” turnout was quite impressive:

In another photo, it was noted that the president’s eldest son and namesake, Donald Trump Jr., shared some of the photos taken in an Instragam Story he shared.

There were also videos and photos shared on Twitter:

As seen in a YouTube video, there were some nice size vessels in the parade that are sure to draw criticism from the left about...

Ilhan Omar Announces Marriage to Man Whose Firm She Has Repeatedly Funneled Campaign Funds Toward

Omar’s husband has found their arrangement very lucrative.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) announced today on her Instagram account that she has become married to Tim Mynett, a political consultant whose firm has received hundreds of thousands from Omar for so-called campaign services.

“Got married! From partners in politics to life partners, so blessed. Alhamdulillah,” she wrote to accompany the picture of her and her new hubby on Instagram, finishing with an Arabic word that translates in English to, “Praise be to God.”

Big League Politics has reported extensively on the scandalous love affair between Omar and Mynett. Mynett’s ex-wife has accused Omar of being a home-wrecking Jezebel who destroyed her marriage:
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has been called many different names since the incendiary figure was elected into Congress last year: fraud, extremist, anti-Semite, Islamist, and now home-wrecker.

A mother from Washington D.C. is alleging in divorce proceedings that her husband had an illicit affair with Omar that was the cause of her marriage falling apart, according to a filing received by the New York Post.

Dr. Beth Mynett, 55, alleges that her husband, Tim Mynett, told her that he was cheating with Omar in April, and even issued a “shocking declaration of love” toward the Minneapolis Congresswoman before leaving his wife. The filings were submitted in Washington D.C. District Court on Tuesday.

Tim Mynett, 38, has worked as a Democratic Party operative for far-left Muslim democrats like Omar and former Congressman Keith Ellison. He allegedly threw away his marriage to his long-time wide despite the fact that the couple has a 13-year-old son.

“The parties physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar,” according to the court papers.

Beth Mynett was allegedly “willing to fight for the marriage” and willing to forgive her husband even though he was unfaithful and dishonest toward her, but he was not reciprocal. He desperately wanted to run off with his Somali suitor.

Omar, 37, has paid Tim Mynett roughly $230,000 through his E. Street Group for a myriad of services including internet advertising, political consulting, digital media, and travel expenses since 2018. The far left “Squad” member is apparently not above mixing work with pleasure.

“Defendant’s more recent travel and long work hours now appear to be more related to his affair with Rep. Omar than with his actual...

NY Times Journo Humiliated Over Bad Bloomberg Math Cries Racism

Time to play the victim card.

The New York Times journalist who was humiliated for erroneously claiming Mike Bloomberg’s $500 million ad buy could have been used to give every American $1 million dollars has re-emerged to complain that her embarrassment was the fault of a “racist Twitter mob.”

Mara Gay responded to Bloomberg dropping out of the presidential race last week by claiming that the money he spent on campaign commercials could have made every American a millionaire with lots of spare change.

“Actually with the money he spent he could have given every American a million dollars,” Gay told MSNBC’s Brian Williams, who immediately agreed.

With math obviously not being Gay’s strong point, it was immediately pointed out that Bloomberg’s $500 billion doled out to all 327 million Americans would mean they get just $1.53 each.

After being left red-faced, Gay re-emerged today with a New York Times opinion piece whining about racism.

“A racist Twitter mob came for me over a trivial math mistake. I’m not going anywhere,” she tweeted.

A racist Twitter mob came for me over a trivial math mistake. I'm not going anywhere.

In the article, Gay complains about receiving a “deluge of hate.”

“Unfortunately, quite a few Americans can tell you what it’s like to be the target of a Twitter mob over a gaffe,” she writes. “My great sin was trivial, harmless, silly. What’s it like when people are trying to cancel you for...

Supreme Court Allows Trump’s ‘Remain in Mexico’ Program to Stay in Place

The Supreme Court delivered a win for the Trump administration’s immigration agenda, blocking a federal court injunction that would have limited a program that requires asylum-seekers to wait in Mexico.

The nation’s highest court on Wednesday ruled that the White House’s “Remain in Mexico” program, also known as Migrant Protection Protocols, can remain effective for the entire southern border while a legal challenge continues on. The decision allows the administration to continue fully implementing an initiative that, it contends, has monumentally helped control the border crisis.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals earlier in March declared that it would block the Migrant Protection Protocols in Arizona and California—two states within its jurisdiction—on March 12 unless the Supreme Court weighed in.

The Supreme Court justices did intervene with just one day left, granting the administration’s application for a stay.

The White House immediately celebrated the ruling.

“We are gratified that the Supreme Court granted a stay, which prevents a district court injunction from impairing the security of our borders and the integrity of our immigration system,” a Department of Justice spokesperson said Wednesday.

“The Migrant Protection Protocols, implemented pursuant to express authority granted by Congress decades ago, have been critical to restoring the government’s ability to manage the Southwest border and to work cooperatively with the Mexican government to address illegal immigration,” the spokesperson continued.

Remain in Mexico, which was launched in January 2019, has become President Donald Trump’s most effective tool at controlling the U.S immigration crisis. The program requires most non-Mexican nationals who claim asylum at the U.S. southern border to wait in Mexico for the entirety of their court proceedings.

Since its inception, Migrant Protection Protocols has sent around 60,000 asylum-seekers across the border to wait in Mexico, mostly eliminating the possibility for them to be released into the interior of the U.S.

The decision on Wednesday marks the latest back-and-forth between the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals—which has proven hostile to Trump’s immigration agenda—blocked the Remain in Mexico program for the entire southern border in February. However, the court immediately suspended that order after the Trump administration filed an emergency motion requesting a stay.

The appeals court then declared this month it would block it in Arizona and California, but the nation’s highest court—once again—put a stop to that order Wednesday.

However, the legality of the program itself has not been ruled on by the Supreme Court. The order on Wednesday simply allows it to remain in place as the legal challenge against it runs through the...
