Inside PragerU’s Pro-American Education Resource for K-12 Students

Leftist ideology is becoming more pervasive in schools across the country. To counter the trend, Prager University, an organization committed to furthering American values through digital media, has launched PragerU Resources for Educators and Parents, or PREP for short.

The goal of PREP is to provide parents and teachers with creative resources to teach students American history and values. Jill Simonian, director of outreach for PREP, joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to discuss the new program and how families are beginning to use it.

U.S. Army Considers Scrapping 'Gender Neutral' Fitness Test As Majority Of Women Fail

"We have to figure out a way to make it fair to both genders."

The army is considering scrapping its new "gender neutral" fitness test because women are failing at it en masse and it's therefor not "fair" to "both genders."

From The Telegraph, "US army halts gender neutral fitness test as women struggle":
The US army is considering scrapping its new gender neutral fitness test because women have been failing in much larger numbers than men.

Research showed that the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), which is the same for male and female soldiers, was leading to lower results for women with a knock-on effect for promotions.

An early Pentagon study showed women were failing the ACFT at a rate of 65 per cent, compared with 10 per cent for men. Congress has halted implementation of the new test and the army has begun an independent review into whether it is fair. It has been suggested that the standard test could be evaluated differently for men and women.
I'm sure our adversaries will be nice enough to make sure these ladies will only go into combat against other female soldiers!
The test includes six events - a maximum deadlift, a standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, a sprint, drag and carry, leg tuck, and a two-mile run. Those taking it must score at least 360 points out of a possible 600, and those who achieve higher scores are...

‘Dangerous Precedent’: GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy Says Politicization of Military ‘Must Stop Now’

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Monday evening called for the politicization of the United States military under President Joe Biden to “stop now,” after a series of political controversies erupted over the last several days.

“.@DeptofDefense is being politicized. Uniformed service members recently criticized a private citizen for his First Amendment rights, & today a Dem lawmaker used soldiers in a political stunt against a GOP member. @SecDef Austin—This sets a dangerous precedent. It must stop now,” he tweeted.

A handful of other Republicans have also criticized the military’s involvement in politics.

Their rebukes came after a number of Army and Marine Corps generals and senior military leaders slammed conservative talk show host Tucker Carlson on social media after he criticized President Joe Biden’s focus on making the military more “feminized” while China was focused on making its future forces more masculine.

The senior military leaders mocked and, in some cases, issued threats at Carlson, implying that he could not comment on the military if he did not serve, which undermined the long-held American tradition of civilian rule and oversight of the military.

Indeed, members of Congress had to approve a waiver for Austin — a retired Army general — to become defense secretary since he had not spent more than seven years out of uniform as required by law. Austin reassured members of Congress that he understood the principle of civilian leadership of the military in order to be granted the waiver to serve as Biden’s defense secretary.

Conservative pundits and journalists noted after the senior leaders’ attacks that the military has never similarly come out against any member of the media like that — despite worse criticisms of human rights violations.

The Federalist’s Patrick Swan, himself an Army veteran, wrote in an article that progressive show host Rachel Maddow called the use of the National Guard to help quell riots last summer the “death of the Republic,” but did not face any rebuke from the Pentagon.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Sunday wrote a letter to Austin addressing the attacks on Carlson and requested to meet with the Marine Corps Commandant, since one of its accounts had not only attacked Carlson, but also a civilian who suggested the service focus on China and...

The Washington Post's Fake Trump Quote Scandal Is a Lot Worse Than You Think

The media conspiracy against Trump became a lot more serious on Monday when the Washington Post retracted its January story claiming that President Donald Trump had pressured Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find the fraud” in the 2020 election and said that he’d be a “national hero” if he did.

A recording of the call definitively proved that the quotes cited by the Washington Post, and then parroted by other outlets, were never actually said by the president at all.

But, as Becket Adams explains at the Washington Examiner, “the Washington Post’s dud of a ‘bombshell’ isn’t even the most scandalous thing about this episode in media malfeasance.”

The most scandalous thing, Adams, argues, is that several different newsrooms “claimed they independently ‘confirmed’ the original ‘scoop’ with anonymous sources of their own.”

NBC News reported it “confirmed The Post’s characterization of the Dec. 23 call through a source familiar with the conversation.”

USA Today claimed a “Georgia official speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters confirmed the details of the call.”

ABC News reported: “President Donald Trump phoned a chief investigator in Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office asking the official to ‘find the fraud’ and telling this person they would be a ‘national hero’ for it, an individual familiar with the matter confirmed to ABC News.”

PBS NewsHour and CNN likewise appeared to claim they independently “confirmed” the story through their own anonymous sources.

The Washington Post claimed its quotes were confirmed by an anonymous source, and at least five major news outlets claimed to independently confirm that Trump said things he never said. “The most likely scenario is ABC, the Washington Post, and others talked to the same person or group,” theorizes Adams. “It’s either that or a bunch of people managed somehow to be wrong about a very specific claim, which is...
