Freedom Convoy organizer reveals plans for DC The activist said the truckers’ movement is like a “boa constrictor” coming to “squeeze” the US capital

One of the people behind the American Freedom Convoy revealed to Fox News on Monday that the truckers are planning to besiege the US capital, squeezing it like a “boa constrictor.”

Bob Bolus said the protesters’ main gripe was vaccine mandates, and to make the US government ditch those, the Convoy planned to “circle Washington DC” much like a “giant boa constrictor,” which, as he put it, “squeezes you, chokes you, and then swallows you.” The activist went on to warn “that’s what we’re going to do to DC.”

Apparently, the truckers, who dubbed their movement the ‘Great American Patriot Project’, are aiming for the Capital Beltway that surrounds Washington.

Responding to concerns voiced by Fox News journalist Lindsay Watts that the protest could interfere with the lives of ordinary people, or even potentially endanger human life by blocking emergency vehicles, Bolus said the truckers would leave one lane clear for emergency services. He stressed that the Freedom Convoy would not “compromise anybody’s safety or health one way or the other.”

Watts claimed in a tweet that the DC Department of Motor Vehicles law enforcement division had difficulty finding towing companies willing to remove trucks taking part in...

The Left Goes Full Orwell...

Regulation is freedom, and freedom is authoritarianism.

"Freedom," warned the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, which is funded by the Trudeau government, is a word that has "become common among far-right groups."

To prove its point, the CBC quoted Elisabeth Anker, a George Washington University prof, who claimed that freedom is a "slippery concept" and that those on the right want "violent" freedoms that reject being "bound by norms of equality" or "norms to remedy inequality."

On, in other words, freedom from state coercion to create the ideal society of the state.

Anker wrote a book titled Ugly Freedoms which argues that "individual liberty has always been entangled with white supremacy, settler colonialism, climate destruction, economic exploitation, and patriarchy.” The leftist author of articles such as "You Can Love Me Too — I Am So Like The State" and “The Communist Manifesto in an Era of Late-Capital” takes her anti-freedom views to state-owned media forums such as Al Jazeera, the BBC, and Voice of America.

It’s understandable that anyone whose business is going on government media to explain why the government should take away individual rights wouldn’t be too fond of “ugly” freedom.

In George Orwell’s 1984, the Ministry of Truth is decorated with party slogans that include, “Freedom is Slavery” and “Ignorance is Strength.” The organization was based on the actual British Ministry of Information which Orwell had a great deal of experience with while working for the wartime BBC even while his wife worked for the Ministry’s censorship division.

Orwell would not have been in the least surprised by state media trotting out an academic who regularly appears on state media (including that of totalitarian nations such as Qatar) to explain that freedom is really a very naughty thing even as the state crushes a “Freedom Convoy” using emergency powers that were meant to deal with wartime emergencies, not peaceful protests.

But “Freedom is Slavery” propaganda has become extremely ubiquitous on the Left.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau argued that by using the Emergencies Act to suppress protests, he was actually doing what is "necessary to reinforce the principles, values, and institutions that keep all Canadians free." Taking away the freedom to protest against his regime was actually keeping all Canadians free. 1984’s version of the same logic was a good deal pithier.

Long before the Freedom Convoy, media in this country had begun vocally insisting that Gov. Ron DeSantis was an “authoritarian” for refusing to impose onerous regulations on Floridians.

“Ron DeSantis is creating a paradise of authoritarianism,” a Washington Post column argued.

An authoritarian paradise, like a place where tyranny is the right not to be told what to do, is a contradiction in terms, but in a backward world where freedom is a threat, elected officials who don’t force people to do things are authoritarians, while politicians who take away rights are liberators. The greatest tyranny is making your own choices and the ultimate freedom comes from...

SUICIDED? Long-Time Jeffrey Epstein Associate Dies by Hanging in His Prison Cell

Long-time Jeffrey Epstein associate Jean-Luc Brunel, a fashion agent who allegedly participated in Epstein’s elite pedophile network, was found dead in his prison cell on Friday night.

Brunel was found hanging in his Paris prison while awaiting trial on charges of raping a minor and sexual harassment. He has been accused of setting up Epstein with young girls who could be pimped out to the global elite for the purposes of blackmail.

“His decision was not driven by guilt, but by a deep sense of injustice,” Brunel’s legal team stated following Brunel’s supposed suicide, according to a Le Monde.

Brunel and Epstein started the MC2 Model Management company in the U.S., which was believed to be a front for the infamous child rape operation. Brunel was arrested in Dec. 2020 at Paris’s Charles de Gaulle airport while trying to flee.

Big League Politics reported on how Epstein died under similar circumstances while he was detained:

“Jeffrey Epstein, the Democrat-affiliated sex predator who was facing new charges for allegedly trafficking children to some of the world’s most powerful and well-connected people, is dead today from what is being attributed as a suicide.

Law enforcement sources told ABC News that Epstein committed suicide by hanging himself. He was found Saturday morning in his prison cell in Lower Manhattan and transferred to New York Downtown Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Epstein was slated to stand trial in 2020 on charges of abusing dozens of underage girls in Florida and New York. Child pornography was found after authorities conducted a raid of his...

Dominican Republic starts work on border wall with Haiti

The aim is to stop the smuggling of drugs and weapons into the country, as well as halting illegal migration from Haiti.

The Dominican Republic has started building a wall stretching around 122 miles (196km) along its border with Haiti.

Luis Abinader, president of the Dominican Republic, said the barrier - which will cover almost half of the country's border with haiti - will attempt to stop illegal migrants crossing the border from Haiti, as well as preventing drugs and weapons being smuggled into the country.

The first phase of the project is expected to be completed within nine months, he said.

It comes a week before the anniversary of the Dominican Republic's independence from Haiti on 27 February 1844.

The project will include the construction of 70 watchtowers and 41 access gates for patrolling.

Despite the two countries being neighbours, they are worlds apart in terms of development.

Haiti is one of the poorest nations in the Caribbean, whilst the Dominican Republic has become a popular tourist destination, with around six million visitors each year.

"The benefit for both nations will be of great importance," Mr Abinader said, adding the border wall will also help fight organised crime in the two countries.

The 20-centimetre-thick concrete structure will be topped by a metal mesh and fitted with cameras, motion sensors and radars.

During the last year, Haiti has battled with gang violence, earthquakes, and the assassination of President Jovenel Moise.

Around 500,000 Haitians and tens of thousands of their descendants live in the Dominican Republic, a Spanish-speaking nation of about 11 million people, according to...
