Air Force Grounding Majority of F-35 Fleet

The U.S. Air Force has grounded most of its F-35 fighter jets because a faulty part could prevent a pilot from safely ejecting in an emergency.

The grounding is due to defects in some cartridge-actuated devices, which propel a pilot out of a plane in an emergency, according to Breaking Defense. The defects, identified by the company, are in Martin-Baker ejection seats.

Air Combat Command spokeswoman Alexi Worley confirmed the temporary grounding of its F-35s, a hyper-advanced fighter.

According to Air Force Times, Air Combat Command owns most of the 300 F-35As flown by the Air Force.

“ACC’s F-35s do have Martin-Baker ejection seats, and on July 19, began a Time Compliance Technical Directive to inspect all of the cartridges on the ejection seat within 90 days,” Worley stated, according to Breaking Defense.

“Out of an abundance of caution, ACC units will execute a stand-down on July 29 to expedite the inspection process. Based on data gathered from those inspections, ACC will make a determination to resume operations.”

Air Education and Training Command halted F-35 operations on Friday “to allow our logistics team to further analyze the issue and expedite the inspection process,” AETC spokeswoman Capt. Lauren Woods said.

The AETC oversees F-35 training squadrons at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona and Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

The Air Force also has grounded its T-38 Talon and T-6 Texan II training aircraft because of the glitch, according to Air Force Times.

About 300 aircraft will be on the ground until they can have a new part installed.

Air Force Times reported that the Navy and Marine Corps have grounded their F-35B and F-35C jets.

The Times reported that all planes will be inspected before their next flight.

Other aircraft in other branches of the service also are impacted.

Air Force includes ‘family-friendly’ drag show in woke ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summer Festival’

Air Force Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) has outrageously decided to hold a “family-friendly” drag show during its first-ever “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summer Festival” on Saturday.

The show will feature a series of performances and speeches, including a poem on “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.”

The drag show will be put on by U.S. Navy sailor Joshua Kelley, who performs under the name Harpy Daniels. He ostensibly joined the Navy in 2016 to help fund his drag show activities, according to the Navy Times in 2018.

“Doing drag allows me to embrace my feminine side and allows me to bring my diversity and creativity out. When I put on a face, it’s a face of art and creativity, not just a face of make-up. To hear people cheer, laugh or cry, or even join in with you during a performance is an absolute thrill,” he claimed.

The festival was promoted by the JBLE Breaking Barriers Alliance, which is a committee that is made up of volunteer service members under the base’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Top base official, Colonel Gregory Beaulieu, who is the installation commander, signed off on the event and approved the use of military resources, a JBLE spokesman told The Daily Wire.

Not only is the military promoting the festival as a family-friendly event, but they are also including “bouncy houses and face painting for the children,” to draw little ones into the perverse gathering. The theme of the event is “Celebrating Differences” and will have performances by several...

Billionaire-funded eco group quietly taking farmland out of production in rural America Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen tells Fox News Digital the group's plans are 'flatly illegal'

The American Prairie (AP), a conservation project in Montana, has quietly scooped up more than 450,000 acres of land with the help of its billionaire donors and the federal government.

The little-known project aims to create the largest "fully functioning ecosystem" in the continental U.S. by stitching together about 3.2 million acres of private and public lands, according to the American Prairie Foundation, which founded the reserve more than 20 years ago. The group has recorded 34 transactions spanning roughly 453,188 acres of land throughout central Montana — much of which were once used for farming and grazing — since 2004 and continues to aggressively expand.

"Our mission is to assemble the largest complex of public and private lands devoted to wildlife in the lower 48," Pete Geddes, AP's vice president and chief external relations officer, told Fox News Digital in an interview. "For comparison, about 25% larger than Yellowstone."

"We're not asking the federal government to create anything, we're not asking the federal government for any money," he added. "Instead, we're engaged in private philanthropy and voluntary exchange by buying ranches from people who would like to sell that to us."

The American Prairie Foundation has raised tens of millions of dollars in recent years, according to recent tax filings, thanks in large part to its donors, which include well-known Wall Street and Silicon Valley magnates. Hansjoerg Wyss, a Swiss financier and mega-donor of liberal causes, deceased German retail mogul Erivan Haub, John Mars, the heir to the Mars candy fortune, and Susan Packard Orr, daughter of the Hewlett-Packard Co. co-founder, have all donated to AP, Bloomberg previously reported.

The AP said about 3% of its contributions have come from international...
