China expresses its admiration for WEF and 'the Davos spirit'

Globalists, such as Tom Friedman, Klaus Schwab and Barack Obama, along with a lot of greenie billionaires, have expressed admiration for China and its development as a world power for years.

Now, China is returning the compliment.

According to PJMedia's Catherine Salgado:

Chinese Communist Party (CCP) state propaganda outlet Global Times praised the “Davos Spirit” in a tweet, claiming, “China’s ideals and achievements also made the Davos Spirit more dazzling.”

The tweet further said that China is excited to find “more like-minded friends at the WEF.”

The tweet included a link to a Global Times editorial titled, “China has always kept in step with Davos Spirit.” The editorial said that, with the WEF theme of “Cooperation in a Fragmented World,” the CCP is excited to play a supposedly “constructive role” in resolving issues.

Which pretty well makes Davos and the Chicoms a mutual admiration society.

And why wouldn't it be? Schwab, who runs the outfit, is on record as envisioning a future where "you'll own nothing and be happy," which sounds remarkably like something China's communist founder, Mao Zedong, might have said in his day.

Last November, Schwab declared on Chinese state television that China was a role model, a "model for many nations." He tried to paper it over with happy talk about every nation choosing for itself, but the deed was done.

Meanwhile, other characters such a Tom Friedman have praised the Chinese regime, and Barack Obama has expressed his longing to be able to scrap the trappings of democracy to rule by fiat and diktat like they do. Those are the globalists, the one-world governmenters, the great resetters and they are still out there, while guys like LeBron James continue to rake in the money.

Such mutual admiration now, it's kind of like they're the same thing.

But China, recall, is the nation that just got through a round of major protests over its top-down edicts on the COVID they created. Yes, they created COVID and then inflicted it on the world which is a problem right there. They are the pioneers of mass surveillance of the public and a detested social credit system. Big Brother had nothing on the Chicoms.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee Introduces Bill Criminalizing ‘Conspiracy to Commit White Supremacy,’ Criticism of Non-White People

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) introduced a House Bill criminalizing “conspiracy to commit white supremacy,” which includes criticism of non-white people which influences an individual to commit a hate crime.

The legislation, H.R.61 “Leading Against White Supremacy Act of 2023,” introduced last Monday by Democratic congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, seeks to “prevent and prosecute white supremacy inspired hate crime and conspiracy to commit white supremacy inspired hate crime.”

The congressional bill, which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, states that someone engages in a white supremacy inspired hate crime “when white supremacy ideology has motivated the planning, development, preparation, or perpetration of actions that constituted a crime or were undertaken in furtherance of activity that, if effectuated, would have constituted a crime.”

Accordingly, “conspiracy” to engage in white supremacy inspired hate crime entails the publishing of material “advancing white supremacy, white supremacist ideology, antagonism based on ‘replacement theory’, or hate speech that vilifies or is otherwise directed against any non-White person or group.”

It also calls for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to gain “authority to conduct operations and activities pursuant” to what it deems “necessary and appropriate to interdict, mitigate, or prevent such action from culminating in violent activity.”

The bill would grant the department authority to “prosecute” persons engaged in such actions, with “records of white supremacy inspired hate crimes” maintained and annual reports provided.

In response, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) accused Democrats of “making a mockery of the First Amendment.”

The National Hockey League initially launched a “Pathway to Hockey Summit” that was only limited to individuals who “identify as female, Black, Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and/or a person with a disability.” However, the NHL has apparently reversed course by opening up their summit to individuals ages 18 and up after the office of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis pressured the sports organization to open its access to people of all races.

According to a report by Florida Voice, the change came after DeSantis’ press secretary, Bryan Griffin commented about the NHL’s move in a press release, where he stated the following:
Discrimination of any sort is not welcome in the state of Florida, and we do not abide by the woke notion that discrimination should be overlooked if applied in a politically popular manner or against a politically unpopular demographic. We are fighting all discrimination in our schools and our workplaces, and we will fight it in publicly accessible places of meeting or activity.
Similarly, Christina Pushaw, who previously worked as DeSantis’ press secretary, tweeted, “@NHL: You are officially on notice about your planned events in Florida. Unlawful discrimination will not be tolerated.”

In November of 2022, the NHL started to issue race and gender report cards from the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sports following a discovery from the internal demographics study of the NHL’s 32 franchises. This report found that 83.6% of the NHL’s workforce is white and about 62% is male.

Per a Fox News report, the NHL wrote about their admittance policy for the “Pathway to Hockey Summit,” at their 2023 All Star Festivities in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in a LinkedIn post that is now deleted. Joshua Young of The Post Millennial noted that the summit was originally slated for February 2.

In the summit’s original description, it noted that the NHL was looking for “diverse job seekers who are pursuing careers in hockey.”

“Participants must be 18 years of age or older, based in the U.S., and identify as female, Black, Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and/or a person with a disability. Veterans are also welcome and encouraged to attend,” read the full description.

“We call upon the National Hockey League to immediately remove and denounce the discriminatory prohibitions it has imposed on attendance to the 2023 ‘Pathway to Hockey’ summit,” Griffin declared in the release.

Sports leagues across the US have largely bought into the woke mania and have helped promote this agenda. It’s not just through political means that cultural leftism is being disseminated.
