Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
I saw a copy of Thomas Hardy's 'Far from the Madding Crowd' earlier at the local Library earlier today. As I've not read it, I looked it up when I saw this; the first pic (a woman in a little black dress and black calf boots looking over a cityscape). It struck me as a still from a possible modern film version of the story. Serendipitous? Perhaps. Nonetheless, I like it. If you know the origins of the pic, I'd appreciate you passing that info on to me.
