A 19-year-old man from Syria has been charged with raping a teacher at a high school in southern Sweden.
The teenage student allegedly pushed the mother-of-two into a room, locked the door and sexually assaulted her at the school in Nässjö, near Jönköping.
In the weeks before the incident, the student allegedly sexually harassed the teacher, after which he sent her a Snapchat message in which he threatened to rape her, court documents reveal.
Prosecutors claim the student said he would kidnap someone in the woman’s family if she did not comply and have sex with him, Smalands Dagblad reports.
Allegations: The high school teacher claims the 19-year-old student pushed her into a room at the school in Nässjö, southern Sweden, and sexually assaulted her.
After the alleged attack took place in mid-September, the alleged victim, who is in her 30s, wrote about the incident on her blog, stating ‘a no is a no’.
‘And no, it doesn’t matter that you have an amazing figure. No, it doesn’t matter that your clothes are sexy and tight. No, it doesn’t matter that you know the person. No, it doesn’t matter that no one else saw it or heard it. A no is a f***ing no.’
