President Donald Trump is fending off an increasingly ridiculous two-pronged legal attack from Robert Mueller, who has found no Russian collusion, and Preet Bharara-linked prosecutors in New York who are still trying to put the screws in Michael Cohen. Rudy Giuliani led off with the most recent Trump Team talking point:
The President is not implicated in campaign finance violations because based on Edwards case and others the payments are not campaign contributions. No responsible prosecutor would premise a criminal case on a questionable interpretation of the law.

Michael Cohen’s new attorney Guy Petrillo — part of a team with Amy Lester — represents Cohen as he gives information over to New York prosecutors as part of his cooperation related to his crime of lying to investigators. Those prosecutors are still loyal to anti-Trump activist Preet Bharara, the U.S. attorney fired by the Trump administration.
