When I was at Salerno Afghanistan I would jog the perimeter road as it was a three and a half mile loop. There was also a port-a-potty about every quarter mile. Hail started dropping. I made a wild sprint to the closest port-a-potty for shelter. The size of the hail increased till they were about the size of tennis balls. This went on for about 15 minutes and it was starting to shred the roof. That hail storm broke windshields of civilian cars and left the aluminum satellite dish looking like a golf ball knocking us off the air. Luckily we had a 2 meter fly-a-way dish that got us back on the air. It took 8 weeks to get new panels and hardware to fix the dish.
