I've thought for years that the reason Pelosi won't retire and enjoy being steeenking Rich is because she is afraid that if she isn't there someone will uncover her crimes.

Gas taxes: That one's easy, at least for the likes of Newsom; charge people by the mile to drive! That way the state can collect "road maintenance taxes" and also MONITOR YOUR EVERY MOVE... After all, they can only tabulate your miles if they MANDATE the install of a transponder in your car...
