In the early 80s I worked with an Army Recruiter while on delayed entry, I'm pretty sure our FOUO K-Car couldn't even get out of it's own way....
Thanks for the blast from the past! That's the old Army annex at Forest Glen, Maryland! I grew up there. The Army since sold it ((Did they own it?)) and it's now nice condos.

This is funny. I graduated from high school in 1982; I was squadron commander of my AF JrROTC unit. I frequented our local Air Force recruiting office for a lot of my senior year. The government car they were assigned was a K-Car, a total POS. Meanwhile I drove a 73 Mach One Mustang w/351Cleveland I bought from bagging groceries.
