That meme about men needing to register with Selective Service to vote is pure bullshit.
According to the offical government websites, failing to register is a felony, punishable by a fine up to $250,000 and/or 5 yrs in prison.
Lots of states have a loss of voting rights if you are convicted of a felony.
Maine and Vermont are the only 2 you do not.
The other 48 states you lose it at least temporarily while in prison, others you have to petition to get it back.
So no, the meme is not pure BS. It merely needs qualifiers.
So, it wouldn't be pure bullshit if it said something completely different, huh?
