That it has come to this. They are so effed.
No, it wasn't taught. It came to be known by doing. Trying, failing, trying again, exploring, daring to ask what if, then do.
What has been taught is that one mustn't. One mustn't go outside, one mustn't explore, one mustn't try.
Humanity is always one generation - a sliver in time - from extermination.
The danger is not the bomb, but becoming unthinking, uncaring automatons.
There will always be those who shoot their thumbs off, fail to let go the fircracker, take the corner too fast. But we keep moving forward. Forward in trying the new, relearning the old. And becoming smarter and evermore the inquiry to what can be.
