Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
Liberty now says that customers can 'opt out' from Liberty having a backdoor into your safe.
But why shouldn't it be a customer could 'opt in' if they want Liberty to keep a password?
Will the customer's 'opt out' destroy any previous password kept by Liberty? Will the 'opt out records be secure? Will Liberty disregard a customer's 'opt out' when govermment puts the heat on Liberty?
Liberty's new 'opt out' policy is half-hearted. Its a PR campaign, that's all. Liberty expects customers to trust the integrity of their new policy, even after this whole thing is because Liberty showed they cannot be trusted. They're blowing smoke.
As pointed out elsewhere, a subpoena, not warrant, is for getting information. Liberty disclosed personal, valuable information without being subpoenaed to do so.
That "Health Leader" meme has been around a long time. It was wrong when it first came out, it's wrong now, and it's been wrong at all times in-between.
