Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
Ayn’s problem as an author is that she never said something in 10 words that she could say in 50 instead. The John Galt radio monologue in Atlas Shrugged said everything it needed to say in one page or so. Then it went on saying the same thing over and over for what, 20 or more pages.
She’s not wrong, but she has a hard time saying her piece and stopping there.
