Because that node on the political spectrum indulges the inherent wickedness in man.
This is ironic. Because their very behaviors (manifestations of thought) prove that which they stenuously oppose; that man is ingerently wicked (sinful in a fallen world).
Imagine that you could behave in any manner you wish. No responsibilities, no consequences, no moral or ethical restraints.
Leftists are not completely to that level. But that is their direction.
I say not completely because they are not yet robbing, raping, torturing, murdering (for fun!) each other.
Those behaviors represent the finality of their rush to banality.
To reduce one's humanity, to indulge primal instincts is to become absolutely ordinary. Since when has one animal stood above others of its own kind?
