I remember back in the early 70's that they were warning about coming glaciers as far south as Dallas TX. There was no money to be scammed out of it, so they changed to global warming which is actually less dangerous than cooling. Warming might let you get 2 crops during the growing season, but global cooling might shorten the season to the point you lose your crop.
