The current District Attorney for Los Angeles County is Geo. Gascon. It is an elected position.
Gascon held similar position in San Francisco. He said he will go down there (LA County) to be their new DA. He spoke of it as if being transferred to a new location.
It was strange to hear how he regarded the office as his. He hadn't even arrived to LA yet. This was well before the election.
Well, surprise. This newcomer with only a short time to campaign, beat all the other candidates All but him had been active in LA County for quite a while Garcon, the ultimate carpetbagger. Weird, huh.
Why are the dogs chasing that guy in video 4? It's not long enough to see if they kill him.
