I started listening to Hugh in the mid 90s and I've always had problems with him. He is a really good interviewer but I questioned why he had scum like Matthew Iglasies and EJ Dionne on when they would come off as moderate but revert back to their true far far left selves when not on air with him. He also had John Eastman on regularly so there's that.
Finally when he moved to the east coast I figured his transformation into a Super RINO was complete. Seeing him trying to be honest upped my respect for him immensely.
