In his book, The Death Of Common Sense, Phillip K Howard showed how NYC tried to place public toilets. The cost was astronomical. Then various groups protested based largely on a lack of inclusivity of certain groups.
It was insane in the 1990 s. Positively absurd today.
Where there is secrecy in government, there is a loss of liberty.
Mind you, liberty is to the individual.
Gov is a collective, you are an individual.
A collective tends to act to its own justification.
An individual acts principally to himself.
Quite quickly arises a conflict of collective Vs individual.
The collective argues for compromise, always to the favor of the collective.
The wise never ever never compromised or in any way reduce his natural rights. Never become suborn to the wiles of government. It will not ever go well.
Trump has halted all aid to S Africa and said refugees from there are welcome here. That's all well and good but the fundamental problem is not being addressed. The 2 races are not compatible.
