Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
Any time republicans get control of the house, especially if they have the presidency, they are accused of cutting social security. It’s a scare tactic that’s decades old. I remember when any attempt to even slow the growth of federal spending got wild claims of “slashing” the programs. This is where a functional, critical press would be convenient.
