I am retired now. My two sons went to work in the early 2000s. Me and their mom had taught them the work ethic of Americans as we had worked all our lives. Both are tradesmen. In their teens we and others in our neighborhood put on a roof for a retired couple that needed it in one day after the couple got the materials on discount from the supply store that gave it to them because of age.
