Ninety miles from the South Eastern tip of the United States, Liberty has no stead. In order for Liberty to exist and thrive, Tyranny must be identified, recognized, confronted and extinguished.
Just remember, HFCS ended up in sodas and most processed foods as a replacement for sugar (both beet and cane - neither of which are great, but at least not "created") because of government TARIFFS on imported sugar and massive subsidies to corn farmers and corn processors like ADM and Cargill. NOBODY (least of all the consumers) CHOSE HFCS over sugar. The industry was NOT GIVEN A CHOICE if they wanted to keep costs down (I'm sure there were other incentives given to them as well that we may never know about). So the Congress, all to cull favor from sugar producers/growers, and corn growers/processors, sold our health down the river of HFCS, a product linked to the significant rise in diabetes and other health conditions.
