The entire organ donation mess could be fixed by empowering the DONOR for a change. EVERYONE INVOLVED benefits either financially or with a new organ...EXCEPT THE DONOR OR THEIR FAMILY. Time to start paying donors or their survivors and promote more donations. NOBODY IS DOING ANY OF THIS out of the goodness of the hearts...except the donor...and that is wrong.
