Those who "produce" but ALSO use the power and violence of government to deliver monies (subsidies, contracts, etc.) or protection (regulations, hurdles for competitors, tariffs, etc.) are ALSO TAKERS. They are taking FREEDOM and WEALTH away from others in a manner that has NOTHING to do with the free market or consumer free choice. Don't elevate "makers" who are also "takers." They deserve the appropriate condemnation.
In all fairness, in 1970, I was stationed on Guam and was told the island was a huge coral formation around three spires that were left over from a prehistoric volcano. The overpopulation did not worry me as much as the earthquake I experienced there in August of 1970.
