Florida about to register one million active conceal-carry permits

At a news conference at the state Capitol Wednesday, Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam announced a fast approaching milestone. “Florida will have one million active conceal weapons licenses next week.”

Hitting the million permit mark will mean one out of every 19 people in the state will be armed. 219-thousand of them are seniors and 200-thousand are women, few commit crimes.

“Responsible use of these licenses is overwhelmingly the rule and with only .3 percent of licenses having been revoked for inappropriate use, I think the statistics support that,” Putnam said.

Florida is about to become the first state in history with one million active conceal-carry permit holders.

Convicted Rapists Voted Over 90 Percent For Obama.

The ACLU is currently fighting against rapist disfranchisement.  This ultra liberal organization needs to be stopped.

 Academic work by Jeff Manza and Marcus Britton of Northwestern University and Christopher Uggen of the University of Minnesota estimated that Bill Clinton pulled 86 percent of the felon vote in 1992 and a whopping 93 percent in '96.

It is then reasonable to extrapolate these results out to the current year to say with reasonable confidence that convicted felons and rapists voted over 90 percent for Barack Obama.

In Virginia new laws allowed felons to vote for the first time in 2012. They estimate it added 450,000 new voters. Obama only won by 150,000 votes in Virginia. Felons made the difference. RAPISTS AND FELONS GAVE VIRGINIA TO OBAMA.

We can expect the corrupt Obama administration to pursue opening up Felon and rapist voting in all states. Liberal organizations and corrupt U.S. media have been pursuing this for years.

After interviews with oil experts, mechanics and automakers, one thing is clear: The 3,000-mile oil change is a myth that should be laid to rest. Failing to heed the service interval in your owner's manual wastes oil and money, while compounding the environmental impact of illicit waste-oil dumping.

Scared Into Needless Service -Part of the blame for this over-servicing lies in our insecurities about increasingly complicated engines that are all but inaccessible to the average driver. Pop open the hood of a modern car, and a mass of plastic covers wall off the engine. On some vehicles, the only thing an owner can easily access is the oil cap.

The 3,000-mile myth is also promoted by the quick lube industry's "convenient reminder" windshield sticker. It is a surprisingly effective tool that prompts us to continue following a dictate that our fathers (or grandfathers) drummed into our heads: It's your duty to change your oil every 3,000 miles — or your car will pay the price. But as former service advisor David Langness put it, the 3,000-mile oil change is "a marketing tactic that dealers use to get you into the service bay on a regular basis. Unless you go to the drag strip on weekends, you don't need it."
