CNN forced to apologize for airing deceptively edited Milwaukee riot footage

You’ll probably know CNN as that network you only watch when you’re trapped in an airport, there’s no wifi, your laptop’s battery is dead, you don’t want to spend money on outdated print media, and you need something to look at while you slurp up your third watered-down Bloody Mary. For you it’s background noise, nothing more. However, there are apparently still people out there who regard it as a source of actual news. We’re not sure who those poor, ill-informed, souls are, but we’ve been assured that, yes, they really do exist.

Thanks to CNN’s deceptive editing, those folks believe that the woman in the following clip was calling for an end to the violence that recently engulfed Milwaukee. As you’ll see, they’ve been lied to.

Far from calling for an end to the fires, she was actually calling for the fires to be moved to the suburbs. There, presumably, the “appropriate” people would be targeted.

Leaked Board Documents: Soros Organization Tried To Buy Supreme Court Ruling On Illegal Immigration

Open Society Foundations, Hungarian-born billionaire George Soros’ stated vehicle for progressive social change, orchestrated a well-funded attempt to secure a desired outcome in a U.S. Supreme Court case on illegal immigration enforcement, according to a newly discovered memo between the organization’s top U.S. officials and board members.

The February 2016 memo was among thousands of internal OSF documents released to the public by anonymous hackers whose stated goal is to “shed light on one of the most influential networks operating worldwide.” OSF U.S. Programs director Ken Zimmerman and deputy director Andrea Batista Schlesinger co-authored the memo, which is addressed to the 14 advisory board members of the organization’s U.S. operations.

According to Tuesday’s scoreboard from TVNewser, in the month of August thus far Fox News Channel has once again come out on top as most watched news channel, surpassing more left-leaning networks CNN, and MSNBC.

However, in a more unusual showing, this month CNN fell short of MSNBC, as well. “MSNBC finished No. 6 in primetime and No. 8 in total day, while CNN finished No. 9 in primetime and No. 10 in total day,” reported TheWrap.com. “MSNBC’s second-place finish is notable, as CNN won the primetime demo for the entire month of July. Last week, MSNBC averaged 1.22 million primetime viewers compared to 986,000 for CNN.”

Western Journalism reported earlier this month that although CNN had high ratings during their coverage of the Democratic National Convention, the network did not enjoy a post-convention bump.
